House vacation rentals in Kauai

Awesome place to stay! House was very clean and modern with a lot of thoughtful details. Location is perfect for exploring all that kauai has to offer, given proximity to wailua river, the easy drive to northern beaches, but also to southern areas for Allerton, etc. Peter was very responsive and suggested some great hikes that weren’t on our radar. But we also just enjoyed being in the house for down time after all our activities, with windows open and that ocean breeze blowing through. We didn’t want to leave.

If you need to relax in a spacious home on a gorgeous property away from the hustle and bustle but still near amazing restaurants and stores… this is it. This place has an old Hawaii charm with all the modern conveniences. Also, if you are booking any Na Pali tours, this is so convenient and close to the harbor where all the tour companies are located.

Don’t hesitate to book! This was such an ideal space to stay on the north shore. We loved so many things about this condo for our family of 6. Everything was in pristine condition and Alayna was so responsive and kind. We loved the door pad access instead of needing a key. The rinsing station by the front door was so helpful as well after coming in from the beach and towels to dry your feet. The view of the ocean is even better than the pictures make it look. We ate every meal on the lanei. The washer and dryer were such a plus! It is also a 60 second walk to an incredible look out with Adirondack chairs. The kitchen supplies were updated and coordinated and not a hodge podge mess like some rentals. The beds and linens were so comfortable and there were so many extra provisions we didn’t expect or realize were there. The AC worked fine and we only used it at night. We very much wanted another night or two on top of our 3 nights. Wishing we had split our trip to spend more time here!

Fabulous location, steps from Hideaways, short stroll to Queens Bath and 1 Hanalei. We walked everywhere, saw tons of turtles, kitchen is well appointed, exceeded our hopes, thank you!

My family of 6 stayed 5 nights at this beautiful property. The house sits secluded in its own grove of fruit trees, surrounded by a canal. It is also just a short few-min walk to Moloa’a Bay, which is never too crowded. The spacious house has everything you need to cook meals, or enjoy some downtime on the wrap-around porch. It also comes equipped with all of the necessities you would need for enjoying the beach- kayaks, surf boards, snorkels, towels, fishing rods, and more!

Great place - would come back in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at this beautiful condo. I wish I could hire the owners to decorate my own house because everything was just stunning. My daughter said, “this is my dream beach house!” We appreciated how well stocked everything was. We felt right at home. All the beach gear was perfect for our family of 5. We also appreciated that the check out “to do” list was short and sweet. We loved the açaí bowl place that was within walking distance and we loved how close the condo was to Hanalei town. My only suggestion is if you’re traveling during the summer months, stop by and turn on the AC units in the rooms before going to explore the town. We didn’t and regretted that because it took a little while to cool down the house. But after a couple of hours, the condo was very comfortable. Don’t hesitate to book this spot- it’s great!

This home was fabulous and exceeded our expectations. The layout is perfect for a larger family or group. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and BBQing. The views are spectacular from the gorgeous deck. The location is perfect to frequent restaurants, sites, and outdoor activities. Our family made lasting memories and we would rank the home a 10!!!!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location! Very peaceful neighborhood. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. Not walkable to shops but the drive was short to a shopping center with groceries and restaurants. We did have a few bugs, lizards in the home which is expected for Hawaii! And little frogs liked to take a dip in the pool later in the day with us!

We really did enjoy our stay here, it was easy to check in and it’s about a mile away from some very delicious restaurants and shops. The rec center is down the street and the pictures are as described. Brandon is very responsive and quickly answers your questions and gives useful information. The cottage was quaint, clean, and very cozy and relaxing. It was very clean, however I did have an issue with some things that weren’t thoroughly cleaned and wiped down. I’m very particular as I’m very allergic to dust so I mentioned this to Brandon and he offered to have his cleaner go back and fix the spots that weren’t thoroughly cleaned missed. However it wasn’t anything major as I’m just picky. The kitchen and bedrooms were immaculate and looked brand new. There are tons of supplies in the house and in the garage, which I loved. Brandon was so kind, due to this issue the owner came by and gave my kids candy and a book to read. It was very thoughtful and sweet. Overall great experience.

A slice of Paradise! A gem in the treasure trove of Princeville. We had everything we needed and wanted. It exceeded expectations & photos. The exercise equipment at the club house was well furnished. The whole complex area is extremely well maintained. Very pristine & private. Beautiful furniture inside and on lanai. Kitchen very well stocked and had laundry soap/dryer sheets available. Many extras…drip coffee maker, aluminum foil, cooking oil/spices, refrigerator with ice, use of beach chairs, towels, etc. Extremely clean & comfy! Laura- onsite contact was very helpful, kind, & communicative. If you want to experience the essence of Hawaii & Aloha… this is the place for you. We have been to Hawaii on 6 visits & this is by FAR the BEST place we’ve stayed in! Thank you so much Cynthia for sharing your gem with us! We definitely want to return to your slice of Paradise again! Words cannot convey our gratitude for the incredible experience & hospitality… Mahalo!

Nice home, great for our family of 6. Each bedroom was the same size as the master, each with similar bathrooms which were big and spacious. Great home. Slightly older furniture but in good condition. Pool was nice and enjoyed having a hot tub. Would stay here again. Also is a very good location for poipu, on a golf course and neighborhood is great for walking and biking.

North island in princeville is beautiful, it’s away from cities so more expensive amenities and not that many choices but we felt it was more of an authentic island experience. Great beaches. A few Good restaurants nearby. (Happy talk and the pizza place next door) Home is wonderful. Better than expected. Host and home owners were great.

We had a great time here! We loved the location next to the Grand Hyatt and all that they have to offer. You can walk to shipwreck beach 5-10 min. Geralyn was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. it was hard for us to find a place last minute that would accommodate 7 guests. this place worked out great it's just the right amount of beds. if you are looking to stay in Poipu/Koloa this is a great option. We loved all the beach gear available for use in the garage. Very convenient. Hope to be back again sometime in the future.

Mariah, the co-host, kept in great communication with us. We misunderstood about the timed check-in and she was very understanding about it. She helped to make our stay very positive, and was very kind about a toddler mishap. The area is very convenient and our children loved being so close to the beaches (many within 5-10 minutes) and food near Poipu and Koloa town (very good to have short drives with two little ones). We also enjoyed the generous hours for the hot tub and pool. It was a wonderful stay and we would definitely stay here again; a couple of our visiting friends met us for a quiet dinner at the property and they said that they would book this spot, too! Thank you for a great stay.

We had a very enjoyable and lovely stay at Sina’s place. The location is ideal, peaceful, beautiful, clean and a really good spot for relaxing. The condo is spotless, extremely clean, has good A/C is very comfortable and feels very homey. It’s a little nest on its own ideal for couples looking to treat themselves. The studio is hotel like grade. Sina has been fantastic, super responsive, friendly and gave us very authentic local recommendations that matched ones from people living on the island. We would really recommend staying at Sina’s place if you are looking for an hotel like experience but more intimate.

The backyard views were beautiful! No horses visited but so many birds to watch and listen to. Super peaceful and it was obvious that this is a special place! We enjoyed watching the geckos on the outside of the glass shower come to catch moths each night haha. Love the proximity to beaches like Tunnels, Anini and more. If you want to get into Haena State park make reservations ahead of time. Wish we would have done that. Also note there isn’t great cell service. Overall we loved our stay!!

You can’t beat the location. Easy walk to Hanalei Bay beach for surf. Short drive to the state park or to Anini beach for calm snorkeling. Walk to the Hanalei bread company for breakfast and coffee. It’s beautiful. The house was clean and well appointed. Lack of air conditioning was not a problem for us with windows and sliding doors open. The second bedroom entrance is outside down the elevated deck. This was fine for us, but might be a problem if traveling with small children.

We loved our stay at Christofer’s place! The location is incredible! Poipu beach is just a few steps from the house, and we really enjoyed seeing the turtles sleeping on the beach. The house is warm, confortable and fully equipped. The beds and linens were excellent, and we loved the balcony views! Christofer was responsive and extremely helpful. We are looking forward to staying at this place again soon!

We have stayed at many different properties of Susanne’s over the years, and this was one of our favorite places to stay. Exactly as depicted in the ad. Super clean and super convenient. We can’t wait to come back to Kauai and stay in one of Susanne’s properties in the future.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. Being in a residential community, it was very quiet and peaceful. The outdoor shower was fantastic. Felt right at home - everything was very clean and nicely furnished.

This place has it all – and more ! The house is one of the best we have ever stayed in. It is wonderfully located at the Golf Course so everything around is very green with open views in all directions (easy walking distance to a beautiful little shopping and dining village). The house is very bright (you can open the entire back front of the living room/kitchen), provides for wonderful modern and tasteful furnishing, large bedrooms with very comfortable beds, a great kitchen with everything you could think of, great bathrooms with an extra outdoor shower between green flowers (view protected and warm water), and two terraces you never want to leave (don’t miss the millions of stars at night you will see once you extinguish the Tiki Torches nicely surrounding the backyard). Needless to say, everything was super clean and shiny. Kaycee is a great host, very responsive, and kind. We’ll most certainly be back.

The Hibiscus Cottage was an excellent location and price for our honeymoon! We enjoyed being close to the beach and hearing the waves at night soothing us to sleep. The house itself had kitchen amenities and bathroom amenities beyond expectations. We were able to make a fabulous smoothie in the morning and travel the island or stay at the beach and hang out with the waves. A fabulous place!

We booked Daniela’s home for a wedding we attended on the nearby golf course. Beautiful location, comfortable home, responsive host. Also have to mention the fully stocked kitchen was a huge plus we felt right at home. With a grocery store a 5 minute drive away it was so convenient. Daniela was super proactive reaching out before the trip and even checking in on us while we were there. Super easy to contact her with any questions. Would definitely recommend!
