Altitude Madarao Lodge - Group Booking up to 28pl

Jacob and Josie and Justin at Altitude Madarao looked after us really well. They provide breakfast every day with variety of choices. There’s a slope just about less than 100m walk and you can get lift passes and gear rental in the shop near carpark 7. Great host overall, highly recommended to anyone. They try to create homely atmosphere, where we felt from the day one. Thanks team Altitude Madarao..
A charming black wooden lodge is surrounded by a blanket of snow, with icicles hanging from the eaves. Signs indicating the lodge and ski services are visible. Windows and wooden shutters add to the rustic character of the building.

What a wonderful lodge to stay in to enjoy this stunning location. Our hosts couldn’t have looked after us better. Nothing was a problem. The food was delicious and the lodge was a warm and comfortable reprieve from the snow. We had an incredible powder snowboarding experience and some onsen time. Couldn’t recommend this lodge more!
A cozy guest room features two single beds positioned on a raised wooden platform, draped in white linens. Natural light filters through a window adorned with simple curtains. Hangers are provided on a nearby wall, contributing to the room's functionality.

Chalet - 2 Futon beds - Share bathroom

I felt so lucky to have booked a room at Ado’s place. He was available at all time to assist and went above and beyond to help me after I had a bad injury on the 2nd day of my ski trip. He helped me move around, stay an extra night and also helped me get to my bus stop with all my luggage. I’d 100% stay here again knowing the service level.
A spacious lounge area features large windows that provide views of the surrounding trees. Dark flooring complements the sleek, modern furniture, including low tables and cushioned seating. A small heater is positioned centrally, creating a cozy focal point within the open space.

We had the best stay at Shayne’s place. It is in such a great location. A short and beautiful walk around 10 minutes and you’re in town. Shayne was an awesome host, super helpful with recommendations and transportation around town. A really welcoming place, with a communal feel making it easy to make friends. Would definitely stay here again!

Japanese-Style Room with Shared Bathroom

6 stars This is a classic locally run Japanese hotel known as Kofukan. Firstly, they don’t write messages on Airbnb. Just book and go. When you arrive at train station, tell taxi “Kofukan” ¥700. On checkout the hotel gives you free ride back to station. Two staff speak English decently, but all staff are so polite and kind, it is a classic Japanese ryokan and gives you authentic experience how locals travel, host and stay in Japan. Highly recommend. The onsens are amazing, very clean and fresh water, hot. They give robes called yukata to wear around the hotel, and the rooms have hot water ready all the time for tea, such a nice amenity. The tables also have extra blankets for cold weather, the room has space heater. They offer delicious Japanese breakfast and also dinners. Nearby you can walk to the local restaurants in the small town. Honestly if you are coming to Myoko this is the place to stay. Tip: frozen Sakura sweets across the station in souvenir shop. (Let thaw)
A serene room is showcased with two twin beds dressed in white linens and floral comforters. Natural light filters through shoji screens, illuminating the wooden floors and tatami mat. A ceiling light fixture offers additional lighting, and a standing fan is positioned in the corner.

TenΞ Lodge Minakami, Japanese Style Tatami Room

Great lodge. Booked a tatami room, which was right above a whitewater river. Opened the window slightly and that background sound resulted in the best nights sleep I’ve had in a while. Nice lodge, has all you need. Kieren is a great host. Knows lots about the area Inc tips on the local onsen
An orange-colored hostel is shown, highlighted against a clear blue sky. Snow blankets the pitched roofs, and a leafless tree stands in the foreground, its branches lightly dusted with snow. Windows reflect the bright winter light.

This place is very nice and he is a great host. The location is perfect for ski trips or adventuring in the mountains. We had a group of 5 and it fit us perfectly.
A spacious room features a large bed with crisp white linens, accompanied by a set of bunk beds. Natural light enters through a window, illuminating the subtle green wall and minimalist wooden accents. Soft tatami flooring adds a touch of warmth to the space.
