Villa vacation rentals in Kamo River

Very pretty, quiet and comfy place to stay in. The hosts are extremely friendly and responsive. There's also washing machine which is a plus point for our stay. We would definitely come back here again if we were to travel to kyoto!

Amazing find! Perfect location close to many sites whether by walking or train. Neighborhood was quiet and house felt like we were at home would stay here again!

My kids enjoyed the creative atmosphere of the house. We appreciated how clean and spacious it was. The host is very helpful and response. Perfect place close to a train with easy access to all of Kyoto. Worked perfectly for our trip to multiple shrines, temples, Nintendo Museum, and you can even see the Nintendo Headquarters from the train station!

The place was clean, easy to find, and very comfortable. Our host was kind, responsive, and thorough in their responses. We especially enjoyed the foot massage machine and the many games provided in the home.

It was like a step back in time, truly MAJESTIC place to stay if you want to feel immersed in Kyoto. 10/10 will be staying again whenever I'm in this part of Japan. Thank you so much!!! <3 <3

The house is beautiful and clean, perfect for 11 people with the possibility of accommodating 13 people with the two sofa beds. Very characteristic house in classic Japanese style, the house is in a very typical and quiet area a little out of the way of the main attractions. There is a karaoke next door that plays music in the evening, inside the house there is no excessive noise but I do not recommend it to those who have light sleep, we did not have any kind of problem. Check-in was very simple as was check-out, we arrived before the indicated time and they still kept our bags inside.

We were 3 families traveling together, lots of kids, big room, all kids can stay in one room.The first floor common area is also big and clean overall.

This was a beautiful, peaceful home and super close to a subway station. I will recommend this to any friends who might go to Kyoto.

Perfect spot for 10 people. Great location and loved the authenticity of the sliding paper doors, beds on mats, etc. Very comfortable and loved the location and host.

Shan was a generous and ultra professional hosts, provided my family of 5 not just with regular amenities but quality snacks, treats and indulgences in his charming three-storey guesthouse. Beautiful home in an amazing city!

The house was wonderful, the location was really quiet on the outerskirts of Kyoto, perfect for hiking and get away from the crowded areas. We have enjoyed the garden as well as the cozy living room.

The host was so kind and so thoughtful and very accommodating. The home was beyond beautiful. It was a perfect place to stay and enjoy your vacation.

We stayed at Shi's place as a group of 7 and absolutely loved it! It was a beautiful space and we loved the Japanese style architecture - it truly enhanced our Kyoto experience. A highlight of the space was the common living room area as well as the small bar. It made for a great space to have a night in with friends.

The place is as described in a quiet neighborhood, good for walking around to appreciate the beautiful flowers in front of some houses. There are grocery stores within ~20 mins walk downhill to a main street of the area. It was very helpful to have a pick up and drop off to the subway station services by the owner.

charming little place in Kyoto. The host really went above and beyond in ensuring that we had everything we needed. If you are tall, your may need to watch your head in a few places, however!

The location of the B&B is very eye-catching, there are convenience stores and fresh food supermarkets nearby, the Host is very nice!!All processes will be given detailed text answers and food recommendations!They also sent snacks!The tableware is complete and the room is clean and tidy.The surrounding environment of the house is also very quiet and peaceful, highly recommended!

Very convenient location in the Arashiyama neighborhood. Only a 6 minute walk to shops, the bamboo forest, or the larger neighborhood train station. There is a smaller train track right behind the house, and we were worried about noise, but it turns out those trains don't run at night. Very responsive owners/ management- it was a great stay.
