Townhome vacation rentals in Kamo River

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is conveniently located near a bus station (2mins) and a subway station (15mins). The house was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Instructions were very clear and everything in the house was labeled to prevent any confusion. Something to consider if travelling with older people is the steep steps that are required to go from the sleeping area to the bathroom. The host Minnie was very friendly and quick to respond! We appreciated the recommendations and added amenities that made the stay even more comfortable. Minnie was accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage past checkout. Would love to stay here again!

这次和朋友一起入住了Jasmin的民宿，是一件传统日式房屋。根据房东提供的指引十分方便地就找到了民宿，使用密码自主入住，所以不用担心赶不上check in的时间。民宿离JR站稍微有点距离但不构成问题。民宿空间非常大，有两间卧室和一间客厅。所有房间都打扫的很干净，榻榻米都一尘不染。厨房设备完备，提供全套餐具还有基础的调味料。房东响应也很及时，我们入住时洗衣机出了点问题，联系房东后房东立马就派人来上门维修，等我们外出归来时洗衣机已工作正常，还帮我们把衣物放进了洗衣机进行清洗。当我们不知去哪解决晚饭时，房东向我们推荐了家烤肉店，烤肉十分美味价格也不贵😋Jasmin是为很热情的房东，非常推荐她的这家民宿。

My cousin and their family had an enjoyable stay. The house was clean, stylish, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Tomoko San was very responsive and friendly, making the check-in process quite smooth and answering any questions. I would recommend it to all my friends.

We felt right at home with the personnel check in. They were very attentive, helpful and kind with great restaurant recommendations! The house with a traditional feel was impeccable clean. The cherry on the cake were the 5 bicycles provided which you could use for free. also a easy to park parking spot if you are driving. 6 out of 5 :)

Have never stayed in an Airbnb this unique in architecture. It’s 2 beautiful houses joined by a lovely garden and a walkway. One over 100 years old, and absolutely stunning, and the other a modern one with all amenities. And top it all a wonderful host, so kind and communicative.

We simply loved staying in this home. The location is ideal for experiencing Kyoto. Peaceful and quiet and yet five minutes to metro/bus stops. And we also walked to many sites and temples. Ume is a gracious host and the home is a beautiful and historic building. We were very comfortable with two adults and two teenagers. Highly recommended.

We liked Ryoji’s place the most out of everywhere we stayed. So close to Kyoto station, Aeon mall and places to eat. It was secluded and quiet. People have mentioned the train which you do hear, but was not bothersome. I would definitely stay again.

This place was just so wonderful. Located in a quiet neighborhood, easy walking distance to trains and groceries, and just so lovely. Plenty of room and amenties to enjoy your time in a beautiful home. We even got some work and laundry done. Definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful stay. The traditional design, peaceful garden, and beautiful aesthetics made it feel like a true retreat in Kyoto. The bathtub was a highlight — perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Everything was clean, thoughtfully prepared, and just as pictured.

房子前面有一条非常漂亮的入户小径，房子的风格很日式，庭院很漂亮。每天起床后我就会去客厅里打开拉门，对着院子坐下发呆。晚上在榻榻米客厅里和朋友们一起喝饮料玩游戏，夜深后沿阶爬上二楼的房间睡觉，床前的夜灯很有氛围，像重回读书时代和同学一起夜宿。 房子整体很干净，有洗烘一体机，洗衣服非常方便，厨房也很完备，有很多漂亮的餐具，可惜这次没有用上。浴室是日式的三分离，也很干净好用。 位置在居民区很安静，入住的时候接待我们的老板娘推荐了附近本地人喜欢的美食店，我们都去吃了，味道不错，餐厅老板态度也都很和善。 离地铁站不远，也有公交用于通行，很方便。 我们在屋子里度过了幸福的几天

在和乐庵住的这一晚刚好京都下雨了，把窗户开着，听了一夜的雨声入睡，这几乎是我今年最幸福的时刻～

This was a really, really great spot to stay. The location is phenomenal, super comfortable and cute as can be. Loved every minute staying there. Just watch your head on the door frames if you're tall like me!

Absolutely gorgeous stay. Exactly how it is in the pictures. Calm and serene, great neighbourhood. There’s a bath house nearby and a great bar run by an older gentleman out of his garage down the street. Close to the station as well and walking distance to quite a few places. Would highly recommend. We had our check out dates confused (silly mistake) by the host was gracious enough to let us know and keep our things safe until we could grab them. Would have loved to stay another night. Thanks!

We loved our stay at Meguru House. It is a beautifully renovated traditional home with amazing modern amenities. We recommend this Air BnB for a luxurious contemporary stay in Kyoto, with all the traditional atmosphere. An easy walk to many beautiful Sights with some great local restaurants and Izakuya nearby. Thanks again to our responsive and helpful hosts.

Tsumugi's Machiya Inn was great. I am glad I stayed there rather than a hotel. The area was in a good location. You could walk to several restaurants that were about 15 minutes away. I loved the big wooden bath and how there was a little garden too. The beds were really comfortable as well. Also having a washer and dryer was great! I highly recommend staying at this place.

This beautiful home is situated in a peaceful and cute neighbourhood. We could sleep with open windows. The alleys and little shops are worthwhile exploring. The walls are thin but the neighbourhood is very quiet. It is a short walk from the Nakazakicho metro station which gets you everywhere you need to go. The kitchen utensils are perfect if you want to cook. I appreciated the outdoor hanging space to dry clothes and towels. Was perfect for our family of four.

Nette Unterkunft zentral in Kyoto gelegen. Es gibt alles was man braucht. Es war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Alles wie beschrieben. Für eine Familie mit Kindern und viel Gepäck geeignet aber man muss kreativ sein mit Ablageflaechen. Treppe ist steil und für sehr kleine Kinder schwierig zu gehen. Unsere 5 und 7 Jahre alten Kinder kamen gut zurecht.

We enjoyed our stay here! Great location right next to a popular ramen restaurant and close to the Kyoto station and bus stops. Beautiful home and great amenities! Karen was great with communication! 10/10 would recommend!

Kazuma and Mirei were an incredible host. They were extremely nice and kind. You receive a really warm welcome to their home and you'll sleep in a traditional Japanese tatami house. I was in love with my room. I hope I had this kind of room at home too. You got heaters and AC if you are cold or hot and you got everything you need. And you can use the kitchen, bathroom and living room if you need it. Kazuma is really helpful because he shows you good places to go in Kyoto and have some fun around the city. He was really helpful with everything. He is really nice and funny guy. I had a really good time there. Definitely I'll come back here!

Dieses japanische Haus hat mir richtig gut gefallen! Es wirkt total traditionell und gemütlich. Den kleinen Baum im mittleren Bereich finde ich sehr spannend, macht das ganze auch sehr freundlich. Die Einrichtung ist schön schlicht und trotzdem geschmackvoll. Auch die Lage war top. Es ist ruhig, aber trotzdem nah genug dran, um alles gut zu erreichen. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen! Man freut sich immer wieder nach langen Touren durch die Stadt und die Umgebung, wenn man wieder zurück ist :) So habe ich mir meine Kyotoerfahrung vorgestellt!

A beautiful and convenient place to stay in Kyoto!

A great place to relax after spending the day in the hustle and bustle of the Tokyo cities. Soaking in the tub at the end of a long day exploring and walking was what we looked forward to at the end of each day. The entire place was thoughtfully chosen with guests in mind. A short walk to a few trains too and close by to convenience stores. Highly recommend to anyone!
