Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Kamo River

The house was very cute, clean and a great space for our family. We loved the balcony overlooking the stream; it was a beautiful space to sit and drink coffee/relax. The surrounding area was close to restaurants and shops. It was a little difficult to find at first because taxis cannot drive to the front door and you will have to walk through a small street or along the stream to locate the front door. However, once we found the front door everything went smoothly. We would highly recommended this place to a small family!

Kazuya was an amazing host- everything was perfect for our group when we arrived. The home was the best airbnb we stayed in Japan for sure! We stayed with two young kids- was very walkable, safe and convenient for our group. Would absolutely recommend this property if you are in Kyoto!

We feel so fortunate to have found Mickey’s place for our family trip. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the stunning Lake Biwa. This place is stylish, spacious, and well located. The area is calm but very well connected, especially with buses. You’ll find supermarkets, drugstores, and convenience stores just a few minutes away on foot. We had a wonderful time here. The kitchen setup makes it easy to prepare simple meals.

Jun's apartment is wonderfully located, near the Gingakuji but far enough from the tourist streets to be extremely quiet and restful. He was a wonderful host and staying here was a great pleasure.

May was terrific. If you want to live like a local in a high-end apartment, this place is it. Beautifully decorated. No shoes. Proper heated bathtub. 4 floor walkup. Not a place for big suitcases as staircase is very narrow by USA standards but spacious in the rooms with large closets. The tatami bedroom is lovely. But for those who want a western bed, the 2 small singles with very firm mattresses are an alternative.

It was a great stay! Beautiful view from the window, but it is obstructed by an electric pole. A bit dark to go up our room during night time, but it was safe!

Sumi was the best host I’ve ever had. So warm and friendly. Always willing to help with everything! She even drove us to the train station. The location was perfect and so many things to see nearby. The apartment was also spacious. Thank you Sumi! You are one of a kind. We really loved our stay!

This is one of the best host I have ever had. Thank you Sumi for your help with our stay in Kioto! The flat was perfect for us, couple, spacious and equipped, in interesting area. Additional plus for terrace with a view on city. Sumi recommend us some places where we could find local specialities. She also drop us off us to station. Full recommendation!

Great location, very easy access to city centre shopping dining. 納涼牀grade patio, great for breakfast and night drinks. Lots of cool air, no need for ac on summer. Host Ken quick response and service. Can help book restaurants.

It's so rare to stay in such a good hotel at such an affordable price!Although this was my first homestay experience, it left me with a very good impression!The house is very clean and tidy, and there is a small yard that has been beautifully renovated by the Host (´▽ ｀) The Host is very nice, very kind, very enthusiastic, and very sincere!I met some really good friends at the hotel these days, and everyone was very nice and warm. I was very happy every day for the four nights I🥺 stayed.🥰 Although it was a solo trip, I didn't feel lonely in a foreign country (̀⌄ ́). Every day when I came back from playing outside, it was like coming home ~ Thank you for taking care of these days! (ps: The introduction says it's 5 minutes to Kiyomizu Temple, it's really 5 minutes!) Attached is a super cute message wall ~ (^ з ^) -☆

This is an excellent place to stay with a comfortable bed and thoughtful furnishings. Sumi is an excellent host who provides so much useful information and is always willing to help. She even dropped me at Kyoto station after I checked out. I loved the view from the window and the fact that this place is in a quiet neighbourhood but close by to many amenities and restaurants. Perfect host and stay.

I got stuck in a very unique situstion where I had gotten scammed by an AirBnB host. Alice, cane to the rescue. She understood our situation, and accomodating us accordingly with nothing but kindness, and joy. The property had 3 levels of balcony, which was beautiful. It was spotless, decorated, and safe. I highly recommend staying here!

This homestay is in a good location, convenient transportation, smooth communication with the housekeeper, and prompt response.There may be a reason we didn't stay for a few days when we checked in, and the ground counter was dusty.Suggest that guests clean up a little before they check in, especially the cutlery.Everything else is good.

We loved our stay at this apartment in Osaka! It had a traditional Japanese vibe with beautiful touches throughout, and the space was surprisingly large – plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. Just a short walk to Dotonbori and lots of great food spots nearby

This is a very beautiful appartment - very professionally managed, and located well for the lively shopping, eating and clubbing area of Dotonburi. Pricey, but very comfortable. Alice was the perfect host.

Lovely place to stay - clean, big, and very well equipped!

Nicely designed building. Room is tight but cozy. Toilet has heater which is extremely useful in winter. Need to walk a fair distance to the closest train stations.

This accommodation is perfectly located, walking distance from Kyoto station. plenty of food and drinks in the area. plenty of space in the apartment for a little family.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Kyoto! The place was spotless, comfortable, and very convenient—located in a great area that made it easy to explore the city. Our host, Ka, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the stay, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto!
