Best Airbnb I've ever had. You felt right at home and everything was super clean. There is nothing missing and the furnishings are very thoughtful, so you have enough storage space. Mayumi is totally sweet and easily accessible for questions. The location is convenient as well. Quiet and close to the river Kamo, but still you can walk to downtown. Places such as the botanical garden or the Shimogamo Shrine are also easily accessible by bike.

A wonderful location in a quiet neighbourhood. Easy to get to from Kyoto station. Easy walk to Kyoto Imperial Palace and gardens. Plenty of space for my family of 4. Nice experience to stay in a traditional Japanese home.

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at Sayumi & Yasuhiro's place. Sayumi gave detailed instructions on finding the home along with how to check-in and was responsive throughout our stay. Upon our arrival, we were surprised to find that the home was even better in person than on the online listing. We didn't even know that could be possible! The house was spotless, squeaky clean, and well organized and maintained. The house is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. To top it all off, the towels and bed sheets were some of the best that I've ever experienced. We loved the location, only a short walk to the closest train station. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet, which was a wonderful break from the busy area that we stayed in Tokyo! We only wished we would have planned to stay longer! Without a doubt, we will one day return to Kyoto. I hope to stay here again when we do. Thank you Sayumi and Yasuhiro!
