We felt very comfortable in the stone, small summer house. We loved the courtyard covered by an old vine. In the evening you could illuminate it comfortably and beautifully. We were pleased that there were all the necessary spices in the kitchen and a bottle of red wine was on the table to welcome you. The location in a quiet side street but still only 2 minutes walk from the beach and the old village center of Colombia is ideal. The handover and communication with Dimitrios was very nice and straightforward. We are happy to recommend the place! We felt very comfortable in the small stone summer house. This is such a cozy and comfy place. Beautifully decorated and sparkling clean - you almost don't want to disturb the perfection! The beds, the massive couch in the living room are all very comfortable so we woke up every morning well rested. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom (the latter was stocked with soaps, shampoos and creams). There is a small outdoor space , which we made use of for afternoon drinks and breakfast. Thr place is not right next to the old city, but the parking prices are very reasonable so we just drove in and parked at a big municipal parking. The place is also great as your base for day trips around the island. Our hosts were amazing, upon arrival we found fruit, wine, bread and Michalis popped in with a plate of freshly picked strawberries. Evelina gave us lots of tips on what to do and see - all great ideas. We had a great time and highly recommend the Violin House.

It feels like home as soon as we arrived at Grigoris's place. We were welcomed by Christina (Grigoris mom, hope we got the name right). Christina was super friendly and helpful through our stay. She brought to us some home cooked Greek pastries and biscuits next day and we loved them. The house looks and feels better than the photos. Beautiful sea view in a quiet area. We felt so relaxpastIt has everything you need to enjoy your stay there. Great place for a family. Highly recommend and we will definitely come back. Lots of lovely memory. We had an unforgettable stay at the Seastar house! It's a real little paradise with its private access to the sea (you fall asleep to the sound of the waves), its dreamy sunset and its ideal location. The absolutely lovely host came to pick us up on the road to guide us, gave us good advice for visiting the premises and answered any questions we had. Delicious homemade cakes and succulent candied figs awaited us upon arrival. The house is small but very well arranged; the kitchen is well-equipped, beach slippers and towels are available, there are several spots around the house to eat, rest, barbecue or bask in a hammock. Parking is available which is very convenient. You can walk to a nearby tavern. But once there, you're in paradise between the sea and the flowers; you don't want to leave at all. Really lovely stay at Evangelia’s place— perfectly located to walk around the Old Town, and lots of parking near by to rent a car and travel to the nearby beaches. The place was immaculately clean, bed comfortable, and our host was very responsive and flexible. Her Recommendations page was super helpful during our stay. Would stay again!

We had a great stay in this special and enchanting house. It is a restored olive mill that ?is made for hosting with all the essentials. It is located in the center of the village and very easily accessible. I wish we had more days. Sure will be back again! Thank you so much for hosting!!!

Our stay in the apartment was perfect. The place was clean and had all the amenities listed online. We were able to park near the apartment which meant we could explore all of the local beaches and visit the old town. The apartment was located 10m from the beach, ideal for a early morning swim. We would love to stay at Georgia's place again :)

It was a pleasure staying here, the house is the right size for two people and equipped with everything you need to spend a holiday in Greece. The location is strategic for the beaches and places to visit especially on the west coast of Crete and still close to all kinds of services. Absolute tranquility at night and located on top of a small hill from which you can also admire the sunrise on the sea. Only note, maybe the bathroom would need a small renovation as it is very basic but functional. Frank was very nice and helpful, even ready with tips about the area and what to visit. Recommended location also for cat lovers.

Our stay at Nikos' place was just amazing. The apartment was not only easy to find, but also extremely spacious and comfortable for two people. We liked the decor very much. The location is great, whether on foot or by car, you are quickly close to restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket that offers everything you need. We especially appreciated the garden, but it was temporarily affected by a construction site, which will be over soon. We will be happy to come back!

All around, everything worked very well. The technology and the condition in the apartment were also impeccable. Britta welcomed us personally with her husband and showed us everything in the apartment. She had sent us some links to restaurants and breakfast cafes in advance. These were very helpful. The area also seemed safe to me and on Wednesdays there is a weekly market at the doorstep. The way into the city was very easy and good to master. Also excursion destinations such as Balos Beach, Kourtaliotis Gorge, Kournas Lake and Elafonissi Beach were easily accessible by car. If we vacation in Chania again, we'd love to stay with Britta again.

Amazing stay in this beautiful apartment. The huge balcony has the most amazing view over the beautiful bay! You can watch the sunrise while eating a home cooked meal from up there😊! The bed is comfortable and big, the bathroom was nice and water pressure was great in the shower. A really lovely place. It’s a great base for exploring since parking is free on the street. It took us 20-25 minutes to walk to the city from the apartment. I would definitely stay here again in the future 👌🏼

My boyfriend and I visited during Christmas time(2024). She had filled the apartment with Christmas lights and decorations, which after a long day of traveling, immediately put us in the holiday spirit. She was very easy to communicate with and after learning of my boyfriends love of pizza she provided us with a personalized list of the best pizzas around town. There was also a booklet in the apartment with a rundown of the city(history, restaurants, sightseeing, etc) which is helpful to anyone visiting from another country. Would definitely come back to Chania as well as this apartment! Thank you Katerina!

The apartment is very cozy and clean. The balcony has a fantastic view of the sea and the old town with the fortress. There is shopping within walking distance and the beach section below the apartment is very quiet. I definitely recommend this apartment and would come back again. Checking in with the key box was very easy. I stayed alone in the apartment for 14 days and felt very comfortable. Thank you for this relaxing holiday.

The apartment unit is beautiful, very modern, spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. We felt safe walking around. We rented a car and there were lots of free street parking available. John and Anastasia were very helpful and answered all our questions promptly which we appreciated very much. We had a wonderful stay in Chania and would highly recommend.

I stayed with 2 teenagers in the apartment and we found it the perfect place to visit Chania old town but still stay in a quiet neighbourhood where there was always car park available along the road. The apartment is very spacious and the view from the terrace over the mountains beautiful. Andonis is a very friendly host and shared a lot of useful recommendations for things to do and local restaurants. We tried many of the recommended restaurants and were never disappointed! Maria, who lives on the ground-floor, is such a lovely woman and made us Easter biscuits. If you like walking to the old town and have a rental car to explore other places around Chania, this is absolutely the best place to stay!
