Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Kalutara

We stayed here for a friend's wedding in Bentota. It was an excellent place to stay and relax following all the events associated with a South Indian wedding. The location was a bit out of the way - our initial Uber there wound up charging us extra because we had to go up a dirt road - but Edward was very accommodating and put us in touch with a few tuk-tuk drivers who took us to and from the different events that were planned. He even drove us to an event himself when we couldn't find a ride. The food was also quite good - every meal had a spread of Sri Lankan dishes cooked from locally sourced ingredients. He shared the proposed menu with us and adjusted it after learning that our party had three vegetarians.

Thevin's place was an absolute delight to be at, has all the amenities you'd need for a stay, and located in a peaceful area away from all sounds and distractions. Thevin was always helpful and went above and beyond in helping us during our 2 nights stay. Easy to find rides via pick me or uber from the area. Would recommend to anyone!

Jay's place was really great for a 1 night stay. The area was quiet, peaceful and surrounded by lush greens. It was easy to get around with a car. As a host, both Jay and Vino were very helpful and responsive even late at night. Pleasant stay overall.

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

It is an amazing place, you are missing niks. amazing villa. A lot has been thought of. Super clean, a place for us to come back to again. Contact was great, when there was a question there was a response right away. This is truly worthy of 5 stars. Nice quiet neighborhood and everything within walking distance. We have been coming to Sri Lanka through hotels and AirBnb since 2011, but this was the best place ever!

Great Stay for a Quiet Getaway! I had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb. The place was nice, clean, and well-maintained, offering a quiet and calm atmosphere—perfect for relaxation. While the location is a bit far from the beach and more on the inland side, it’s ideal for backpackers or those looking for a peaceful retreat. A nice bonus was the included breakfast, which was much appreciated. The host was friendly, supportive, and made sure everything was comfortable. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d recommend it to travelers who don’t mind being a little further from the shore.

My girlfriend and me spent lovely 2 weeks in this house. The house itself is really great, with fantastic design, high ceilings with fans in all rooms, exactly as in the pictures. The beach is few minutes walk from the house. Christina helped organize the airport transfer as well, we were welcomed by Shani, Christina's brother, which lives in the house next door. Shani gave us really helpful advices regarding where to go, where to eat, etc. His wife even prepared traditional lunch for us one day. The village and location is perfect to really feel authentic local experience and that's what we exactly wanted. Cheers!

N is a very humble host. He is very helpful, very transparent and does his utmost best to serve his guests to create a magical stay experience. N took care of us as though we were his closed family members giving us a feeling that we were back home. I cannot express enough my sincere gratitude and appreciate to this fine gentleman whom I want to call as brother rather than a host. His breakfast serving for us is fit for a King! I would recommend to stay in this property if you want to be in good hands.

While the accommodation itself was perfect, the real selling point for this stay is the hosts. They are the most lovely hosts I’ve ever had, attending to all of our needs and very communicative. Please do yourself a favour and stay here! 10/10

I booked this Airbnb for my sister's trip, and she had a wonderful stay! The communication with Yashodara was excellent from start to finish, making the booking process very easy. My sister found the place to be exactly as described, very clean, and comfortable. She really enjoyed her time there and I'm so glad I chose this spot for her. Highly recommend for a hassle-free and pleasant stay!

From the moment we arrived,we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home ( Dammi aunty was extremely supportive and kind). The accommodations were impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The owner was exceptionally attentive , friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Whether it was the serene surroundings, or the peaceful atmosphere, this place truly provided a rejuvenating experience. I can't wait to return 😊 highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

A gem in Panadura. I can't recommend this place enough. we will definitely stay here again. the host is really considerate and helpful. really professional. it's actually one of the best places we have stayed in Sri Lanka. the place is so clean which is the highlight of the place. the host is very kind and professional and you have everything you need for your stay. above all that great value for money. highly recommend this place

Chanuka and the family members helped us during our stay for close to a week. They were very responsive to all the requests we made. Common facilities at the resort (restaurant and pool) were in great condition too which made the money we paid totally worth it. We would stay at Chanuka's place again. all the best.

The Airbnb is on the top floor of the Coventry International School. Convenient location. A little noisy because of where it’s at, but no problem for us. We were able to walk to nearby shops and grocery stores. Drivable to the beaches. Top bedding was unintentionally forgotten. Host was unresponsive. We slept with our beach towels. Maybe make sure you have bedding when you arrive with the host. Otherwise, no issues; would stay again.

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing. Diamond villa is a very nice place with a spacious big and clean bathroom, with equipped kitchen, large and comfortable bedroom and outdoor areas to sit and relax. The wifi worked here without any problems. As the owner of the accommodation Mrs. Damayanti mentioned, she previously worked in a large hotel, and it can be seen that she enjoys this activity and that she has a wealth of experience. They know how to accommodate people and how to help. In addition to making delicious Sri Lankan dishes (delicious breakfasts and amazing dinners), she was always very kind, friendly, able to give advice and recommend places for a trip or the best beach. Just like her whole family was. Too bad I couldn't have spent more time here. It was an apartment with everything one could wish for a long, pleasant stay. I'd love to come again next year, and definitely for a longer time. Diamond Villa is where I felt very comfortable and at home. Thanks to this family, I met Sri Lanka not only from the point of view of a tourist. Thank you very much for everything and I wish you all the same. Goodbye.

We spent 10 days at this nice apartment and we liked it very much. The location had easy access to transport and very secure and private. Irantha provided great hospitality and was very helpful with all our requirements during the stay. Cinnamon apartment is highly recommended and we will definitely stay there again!

Place is nice and clean, worth for the rental. Easy to communicate and friendly owner. There is small one blind spot at the entrance caused me to damage my rented car (so, extra payment involved). Quite and nice place even not near to main road, bit difficult for taxi to find the place as always gives wrong location. Lol Thanks

This place is a gem...I visited with my family and there was a confusing with the number of rooms for our booking. However Nishan took care of it and gave us separate rooms as per our booking. The rooms had extra ordinary facilities and exceptionally beautiful. The security system is worth a mention. It was in a central location in Bentota. Thank you so much Nishan for the great welcome...I will stay in this place again, whenever I visit next time :)

Our stay at Chathura Bhashaka's 2-bedroom apartment in Mount Clifford Range, Colombo, was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we booked, Chathura was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing all the necessary information and answering our questions promptly. His hospitality truly made us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our trip.The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and very well-maintained. It was clear that Chathura takes great pride in his property, as all the amenities were exactly as described and in excellent working order. The two bedrooms were spacious and provided a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring.The location at Mount Clifford Range was also ideal, offering a peaceful environment while still providing convenient access to Colombo's attractions. We truly enjoyed our time here and appreciated the thoughtful touches that made our stay so memorable.We highly recommend Chathura Bhashaka as a host.

Chamila's apartment was perfect for our needs. It was close to the town and nearby our family's place. It was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Very good value for money. We would definitely stay again.
