Nice place with 24 hours security personnel available. The area is very private and only has about 13 ish houses. The owner Isuru communicates well and attends to matters immediately. We were just only 2 people but the house is ideal for more people with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms where the upstairs master bedroom comes with AC unit which was our main reason to book. Easy access to Kottawa and Piliyandala area. We loved the temple being right across the road. Isuru managed to turn up when we were leaving the house as well.

Uday and his Mother are like our family now. Blessed to have such kind of people in a new country where we don't know the local language. Will surely return every single time when we plan again. Astounding and immensely caring host. Wishing them all success and happiness.

One of the kindest couple I’ve ever met while being in Sri Lanka. Being a Sri Lankan myself I felt like I was part of their family the second we got in contact. I would advise anyone visiting the area of beruwala or Wadduwa to go here, they will welcome you and make sure you are safe. 10/10

My husband and I stayed here for a whole month. First of all we want to say that we feel very grateful to the family because they were always willing to help us in any situation. For example one time we got sick during our trip and the family was always aware of our health and attended us in the best way. They also gave us recommendations on how to move around the area and places that could be interesting to visit. On the other hand we can say that the place is very nice, clean and comfortable. We like to have experiences close to local life and being there allowed us to enjoy quiet days away from the tourist hotspots but not so far as to be able to easily go to interesting places such as different beaches, jungles, temples, among others. The breakfasts were varied and all delicious. Also many nights we decided to pay extra for dinner which we must say was everytime delicious and budget friendly. We can highly recommend it staying here and hope to return soon. Cathy & Philipp

This cute place is just like a fairytale house. Cute and cozy. Ms. Susila the caretaker welcomed us warmly and offered us a welcome drink. The house is spotless. They set up coffee and tea for next day too. That was so convenient. Right opposite the house there is a rubber plantation. While you enjoying your morning coffee, you can watch monkeys and baby monkeys jumping from tree to trees. That’s was so amazing. Me and my husband enjoyed it so much. The town is not far away. There are great small hole in the wall restaurants ( local ) that you can experience the cultural food. Even you can order through Uber and Pick me too. They will bring your food right at your door. This house is in a nice neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely go back and stay again. Mr. Viraj is so respectful and always responds to your text messages. And the sweet little caretaker Susila is soooo nice. 😊

Our stay at "The Paddy" in Sri Lanka was an absolute delight. Nestled amidst picturesque paddy fields, the location provided an enchanting and serene experience. The expansive property offered an extra space for kids to play. Amidst the bustling city of Colombo, we sought refuge at The Paddy. Despite its suburban convenience at Kottawa, the property's idyllic surroundings transported us far from urban chaos. Our mornings were greeted by the presence of wetland birds and their songs. Hiran, exemplified exceptional communication throughout, setting a positive tone for our trip. The caretaker's warmth and hospitality were noteworthy, treating us to a delectable Sri Lankan dinner with an authentic touch. The cleanliness of the house was striking, and the lack of clutter and abundance of open space contributed to an atmosphere of true relaxation. The minimalist approach to furnishings was a thoughtful touch, allowing us to unwind. We departed with rejuvenated spirits. Thank you!

Such a lovely location! I celebrated my daughter's birthday here with our two doggies, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful day. The garden and indoor spaces offer plenty of room, making it ideal for gatherings. The staff were exceptional—attentive, supportive, and genuinely helpful, which made everything run smoothly. Vidura and his wife are great host. once we landed in Colombo,he got in touch and was waiting outside main road of his house to guide us. only issue kids had was absence of TV and intermittent WiFi connectivity. everything from room to pool was well maintained and nearby areas can be explored by local srilankan railways too. His house is hardly 100 MTs from Maha induruwa station. thank you vidura and all the best for your future endeavours

This is a beautiful spacious property in a fabulous location with a sea view to die for. We were a little concerned as not many reviews, but this is often let as 2 homes together. Alexander was swift to respond and communicate this to us. Sam was always responsive and Dinesh was always on hand to look after us. The dogs are very friendly and absolutely no trouble at all. We already love this area in Sri Lanka, and loved it even more staying here.

Best villa in Bolgoda area! Thank you for the fantastic service provided during our stay. The villa is a masterpiece of elegance, boasting spacious rooms, modern amenities, and exquisite decor. We were unable to find the location when we got there but Anill(Care Taker) was really helpful he literally came to where we were and guided us. Sri Lankan Breakfast was brilliant. Villa has a magnificent view and just views the serene water beneath the lovely sunset. The Villa was amazing. Hope to come back soon. Thanks Ayesha for consistently checking on us! ❤️🤩

Such a beautiful tranquil position set in the jungle environment …. Beach accessible via the readily available Tuktuk with the ever available villa manager. Though the spring water pool at the villa was more than enough for keeping cool

WOW. Absolutely stunning, the pictures don’t do it justice. The bedroom was gorgeous and the bathroom omg, you have your own pond that leads to either the shower or the bathtub, with fishes swimming, absolutely magical. So clean, top notch. Your Cabana/Room is overlooking a beautiful garden with outdoor seating Where you can smoke or have breakfast. There’s a nearby beach , beautiful 10 mins walk. I’ll come back

I have not imagined that my family and the family of Sumida will become friends as if we have known some for a long time.. The house has the same description and a very generous and emotional family and they love serving the guest at any time I am Emirati I advise any Gulf family to book with them .. We stayed at Bliss Villa for 17 nights and it was amazing. Villa is big and has its own territory with jungles and a personal pool. The place is located near Kande Vihara (the temple with the big Budda), Morgalla beach is a 10-15 minutes walk, and Bentota beach is 10 min ride on Tuk-Tuk. Special thanks to De Silva, the landlord of the villa, who met us at the airport, recommended places to visit and even visited them with us. We together visited Yala park, ocean fishing, and lots of other authentic local places. We really enjoyed the time spent together and learn a lot about Sri Lanka. We can recommend you to stay at the villa if you are looking for a calm place in the jungles near the ocean.
