Florian is an extremely friendly and thoughtful host. The apartment is very spacious for the two of us, the view is fabulous: only nature, the location: very quiet. We really enjoyed our time there.
A panoramic view captures a snow-covered landscape featuring a winding river bordered by trees. The town, nestled along the riverbank, is blanketed in snow, showcasing a serene winter scene under a clear sky.

Cozy apartment in beautiful Kallmünz

Top accommodation, especially ideal for transit. We were very pleasantly surprised about the sofa bed because a good mattress was also available here. So also a good night's sleep if more than two people want to stay overnight.

Beautiful apartment with everything you could ever need. Friendly welcome, beautiful surroundings, what else could you ask for. Can definitely recommend. 👍🏻
A tranquil scene of the village alongside the river, featuring colorful buildings reflecting on the water's surface. A stone bridge leads to the charming architecture of the town, with a backdrop of lush greenery and a historic castle perched on the hill.

Vacation in a modern artists‘ house

BethRating, 5 stars6 months ago
The house was quaint and in an idyllic location. Walks along the river with the swans swimming by was wonderful and the hike to the castle ruins was quick and easy and allowed for a beautiful view of the city and surrounding area. The cobblestone streets and one lane roads are reminiscent of a time gone by, and just add to the loveliness of the town. The home was as advertised, a home from the 1200's. The sign on the Brunntor just outside the house says 1250. It has been remodeled nicely but is severely in need of a through cleaning. The spider webs were abundant and just covered many of the art pieces. he house was well equipped with all you need to cook meals, and had ample space. The washing machine and dryer were convenient. Overall, our stay was pleasant and the view from the upstairs windows was divine. It is a bit chilly in the house this time of year as it is a bit drafty, so make sure to buy some wood from a local Toom store and use the woodstove.

Outstanding Hospitality and a Perfect Stay! I had an amazing experience staying at Verena’s apartment. From the moment I arrived, her hospitality was exceptional—warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended—I would absolutely stay here again!

Seezeit

We enjoyed an extended WE here. A really nice place to stay. Cozily decorated and very well equipped. With everything you need and more, even with the "little things" - even spices we found in abundance in the kitchen. Great and nice contact with Regina , she was always accessible for questions. The guest folder with tips for bakers, food, shopping, etc. was there as well as all the information about the apartment. So we were able to get started right away. The location is great, very quiet and with beautiful views over the lake. And yet centrally located for activities such as climbing (Hohenglücksteig / Norissteig) , cycling tours through the Oberpfälzer Seenland (four lakes or Schwarzachtal cycle path) or a trip to Donaustauf or Regensburg, which we also made everything extensive. So the 3 days were actually too short.... All in all, a (secret) tip for the region.

Castle Schönberg in Wenzenbach

ErikkaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We enjoyed a peaceful family holiday in this wonderful historic castle in a scenic part of Bavaria. Schloss Schönberg in Wenzenbach is being lovingly restored by host Hans who is generous with support and insight into local attractions and history. The place is authentic, featuring interesting historic portraits, a beautiful chapel and furniture, but also offers modern, high end finishes and services including WiFi, bathroom fittings and linens. Our rooms included facilities for meal preparation and cooking (induction hob), kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher so we made ourselves right at home. Close to Regensburg (with regular bus service) it is also about an hour’s drive from Munich. Wenzenbach is an appealing village with a nice bakerie and butcher shop, a good Italian restaurant and an interesting church plus pleasant walks. I would highly recommend it.
