Wonderful host, would for sure stay here again. Absolutely accommodating, even helped me with my transportation during my flight day which would not have been possible without him. There are also small markets near by for snacks with reasonable prices so you’re not overpaying.

I highly recommend to stay at Hale's place. Very safe area. We had a wonderful night. We wished we had more time to stay. Hale is very informative and welcoming. The location is in a serene area. You can ride the bus to the center or enjoy a 30 minutes walk. We loved the cats around.

We were so pleased to have chosen Marmara Guest House. It was exactly as advertised, so well located, and affordable. The top floor terrace and breakfast and on-site staff were very helpful. Would rewcommend it to anyone easily. Thanks.

We had 2 nights at Marmara Guesthouse and found it was in a great location near the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. The reception guys had good English and helped with our luggage. It is a quiet place with double glazing and aircon/heating in our room. Internet was very good. The breakfast was fabulous with so many choices and foods to try. Sadly the coffee wasn’t very strong and the bed mattress was too firm. But they’re just small things. Recommend Marmara !

What a gem of a Guesthouse Elif has created at Marmara. Whilst the location is perfect near to all the major sites the guesthouse itself is an oasis of calm where one can retreat back after a day of pounding the streets. Everyone who works there couldn't have been more helpful, warm and welcoming and very quick to rectify any problems one had. The breakfast was utterly delicious with so much choice from delicious vegetable dishes to eggs, both boiled and scrammbled, to all sorts of delicious pastries and breads. As a result one was able to enjoy a feast before setting off for the day and all with a spectacular view. The room I ended up sleeping in was also very comfortable and a lovely place to come back to with its view of the sea. I will definitely be returning but next time with my husband and son!

Everything was excellent! The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. The dining area had a lovely view, and the owners were incredibly kind and helpful. The pin in the google map was not that precise and we had to ask around, but it's ok.

10/10 would recommended this cozy, family owned hotel. They were so helpful and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed for a perfect stay in Istanbul. The airport transfer made my 15 hour layover in the city a breeze.

Preis-Leistung war erste Klasse. Für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt haben wir zum ersten Mal eine Bleibe über Airbnb gebucht, und es war die beste Entscheidung. Sultan Ahmet Moschee sind weniger als 5 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Galata Tower, Eminönü, Spice Bazaar, und alles andere was das Touristenherz höher schlagen lässt, ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Möchte mich bei Umut für den angenehmen Aufenthalt bedanken. Frühstück war auch auf jeden Fall reichlich und für jeden was dabei. Kommen definitiv wieder :)

Thank you Ozlem for a wonderful stay at your place while in Istanbul. The bed was very comfortable and I thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop breakfast with fabulous views every morning and stunning sunrise from there as well. Cozy and cute street and friendly helpful staff. İrfan bey giriş saatiyle ilgili çok destek oldu, çok yardımsever ve kibardı. Mesajlara hemen cevap verdi. Temizlik konusunda hiçbir şekilde endişe etmemize gerek kalmadı. Yatak da banyo da inanılmaz temizdi. İçeride mini buzdolabı olmasına bayıldık. Akıllı kilitle hiç kimseyle iletişime geçmeden şifre ile giriş yapabildik. Su, kettle, havlu ve terlik vardı. Konum Akaretlerin hemen girişinde. Bütün ulaşım araçlarına çok yakın. Vapura yürüyerek 10 dakika. Biz çok memnun kaldık. F/p olarak gerçekten iyi. Tavsiye ederim.

This is the perfect place for sight seeing in the centre of Istanbul walkable to the main sights. The hotel is clean and room exactly as described. The private bathroom is just across the corridor with a good shower. The breakfasts were excellent! The owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a ‘no frills’ hotel, exactly what we wanted and very good value

İrfan bey güleryüzlü biri çok memnun olduk. Odamız sıcak, temiz ve konforluydu. Eşimle birlikte rahat 2 gece geçirdik. Yeri Akaretler’de çok güzel bir konumda. Bir daha yolumuz düşerse yine tercih edeceğimiz yer burası olur. 🌿

I really loved this place and it will now be my go to location for central Istanbul. Incredible value given where it is: right at the centre of best part of the city, with beautiful views of the Blue Mosque and surrounding area, yet far enough away from the main road to be peaceful. The staff were also really proactive and helpful with everything I needed. I highly recommend this place.

Everything was gine, the host was so kind and gracious. The building is old but clean.
