Vacation rentals with breakfast in Johnson City

If you're visiting Abingdon or the surrounding area, this Airbnb is a must! Honestly, I'd plan a trip to the area around the availability of this property, and might again soon because it's that special. The space is cozy and quaint. The location is walking distance from restaurants, shops, the VA Creeper Trail, and more. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and kind. My favorite part is the patio and garden -- it's like being transported to a Cotswolds garden. I spent every moment in that I could. I loved it so much here, I would honestly live in the space if it was an option. It's that good!

Perfect spot for a gathering of family! We had ample room and everything needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked, enjoyed the deck and relaxed.

Host was very responsive. Not anything that is their fault and they gave good directions but it’s a little confusing just due to the hurricane destroying access to get to the property. Otherwise it was a quiet neighborhood a great location. And they gave awesome recommendations for local things to do. We came for the hiking but did so many things locally. I would book again for sure!

Had a great one-night stay in Bluff City, Tennessee. The mobile home is on a beautiful, peaceful lot and is clearly well cared for and well maintained. The space was well set up and much nicer in person than the photos showed—pleasantly surprised! The full kitchen made it easy to prepare my own evening meal, and overall I was very pleased with the experience.

5 STARS! All the reviews are true! Tanya’s home and surrounding land is beautiful. Her place is more than just a rental, it was an actual Experience, more like your own personal Bed and Breakfast. We enjoyed sleeping in a super comfortable bed, with the windows open, listening to the nighttime sounds of the mountains. Mornings were a definite highlight with amazing breakfasts. While Tanya is happy to prepare you breakfast and leave you to it, she is also happy to chat and answer any questions you may have. My husband and I really enjoyed our morning conversations with Tanya. Should you have the unfortunate need to work during your stay, there are plenty of different areas you can set up shop. The internet connection is good and I was able to log onto my VPN with no issues. All in all we loved our visit and will be back. Thanks so much Tanya!

A really neat spot on top of the mountain. The fenced in yard was nice traveling with dogs. The scenery was beautiful.

Jennifer bought breakfast things for our stay. The house was clean and quiet. The furnishings were nice and comfy! Overall we had a great stay and would book the house again! Thank you Jennifer!

Our second time staying at Rainbow Ridge, and it was truly wonderful yet again. Heather has to be THE most thoughtful host, with lots of touches all through the home designed to make you feel at ease and even pampered. Little things like complimentary lip balm in the bathrooms, and small paper rinse cups when brushing your teeth. They're the very things you don't think about until the minute you need them, but Heather anticipates the need, and it's just lovely. Looking forward to coming back here!

This is a quaint and comfy traditional bed-and-breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, the hospitality was warm and friendly, and the coffee was excellent.

Awesome Experience: The castle is high, offers privacy, amazing views and peacefulness. We had a great girls get away to celebrate a birthday. We were in the Duke room set up with two twin beds. This is the only option for two to stay in separate beds in the same room (so far). First the host and hostess were both amazing and the tour was full of information. We felt catered to and comfortable. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The food was presented beautifully and everything tasted SO AMAZING. Benjamin is a wonderful chef. We had eggs benedict like we have never had before and filet, mushrooms and asparagus the night before. YUM. The castle itself also offers many unique sitting places to enjoy the castle and our favorite place was on the front upper deck, enjoying the views of the mountains with a glass of wine. We also hiked to the caves without a guide and that is a trip we highly recommend. It is steep at the end so hiking boots and walking poles are helpful, especially after a rain when it is muddy. The caves were quite large and it was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Improvement Suggestions: The Duke room is a cool room but it is very dark. This could be improved by adding additional lighting in the room. A vanity or additional shelves in the bathroom are really needed too. With only a pedestal sink, a toilet and small shower, there is no place to put make up/toiletries so some additional storage in that bathroom would be helpful.

Joan and her husband were very accommodating, communicated well, and it was great to get to chat with them for a little while during the tasty home-made breakfast Joan prepared. Location is an easy walk to downtown Abingdon.

Gosh, what a dream. Al and Jill were so incredibly friendly and welcoming - and the cozy space we booked was the perfect reprieve from daily the hustle and bustle. Their home is so beautiful - inside and out. We had such a peaceful and restorative weekend there. We so enjoyed the breakfast and the conversations with Al and Jill. We’ll be dreaming of that killer French toast for a long time!

Kerry is a superhost, the place is so tranquil and relaxing, you can feel the serenity all over. Kerry's warm hospitality made our stay blissful and we really enjoyed our stay there, the place is in the middle of mountains and there are many trails around. Such a lovely tree house offers a breathtaking view and serenity in the nature. Would love to go visit again in the winter. Kerry also makes delicious breakfast and don't miss that.

I booked this place for my father for my son’s graduation. It is a quiet little nook that was the perfect getaway for him. Thank you for making our experience so superb!
