Wonderful house and location to SIU. Weather didn't cooperate, but served its purpose!! Thank you for the hospitality and the amazing weekend that was very comfortable for our family of 10! I highly recommend this place, especially for large groups and SIU events!!

We loved how the history of the house stayed with it. We loved the fact you left memories of the owner. When we pulled in we thought the house was going to be so tiny and that it wasn't going to work. once we walked in we were totally shocked. There was tons of room, upstairs and downstairs. It was so peaceful and homey.

Enjoyed my stay at Mary & Snook’s Farm House. Nice home, comfortable beds & convenient to SIU by car.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a quick overnight stay but it had everything we needed. the patio is so cute. Wish we had more time to use the firepit.

If you are looking for a nice old house in a neat little town this is it. We had our family visit us from the area and it was a perfect place to host from. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking a breeze. Also the host was very responsive to any questions we had about the house and the area. We will definitely stay here again if we will be in the area!

The house is a wonderful combination of historic charm and modern convenience. It is beautiful while being comfortable and welcoming. We found the furniture comfortable and the provided supplies and amenities ready to meet all our needs. The grounds are gorgeous and although the house is conveniently located off a main road - you feel as though you have escaped to a beautiful haven. Jerri was a great host that helped answer all our question before and during our visit- Thank you Jerri! We had a few small issues when we were at the place, but these were all resolved quickly and did not impact our overall positive experience. When we arrived, the lock was not working and ultimately it needed batteries changed. This required a 20-30 min wait to get. We also had a few maintenance issues, but again Jerri was extremely responsive to these and got everything working quickly. We would not hesitate to stay here again or at any property managed by Jerri!

Andrew’s place was unexpectedly an amazing place to stay at, loved everything there. With 3 bedrooms having 2 bathrooms instead of 1 would help a lot, as for the garage having a remote to open it would be less hassle than entering the house going inside the garage opening it from inside then get in the car take it inside. Other than that the place is amazing and very well organized, have the garage makes it safe and secure, sadly stayed short time .. Next time I come back again will definitely try to stay a bit longer days, definitely 💯 advise anybody who wants to rent an Airbnb nearby this spot, this place is amazing, secure & feel like in home and more .. much appreciated and thanks to Andrew & his crew 🙏🏻💐

The hosts were flexible, friendly, and responsive. I have never experienced better. They were flexible with an emergency last minute booking. They made my entire trip to Illinois worth it. Thank you!

For the price, we felt this was a clean and perfect place for us, close to SIU. We were visiting our son for the weekend. The walls are quite thin, so noises from the other two units were not buffered at all, but it wasn't really a problem for us. Travis was very responsive to our questions and needs. A/C and heat are controlled remotely, which wasn't explained ahead of time, but he gave us access, so that worked out great. We would stay here again if we visit SIU again.

If this is available book this place, we were completing the river to River Trail and needed to get out of the storms that were approaching and this place was available and I think we’ll have to come back and stay again just so we can explore more around the area! The host was amazing so very accommodating helpful Had farm fresh eggs in the fridge with butter coffee available everything we needed was there definitely will stay again

Super clean place, right downtown. Everything was as pictured.

Phyllis was wonderful, kind, and inviting. check in and out was quick and painless. furniture is comfortable and she allows pets for a still reasonable price! plenty of space for the dogs to run and the place is perfectly placed far enough away from the hustle and bustle in town but close enough to run to the store if you need somrthing!

Ashley and her lakefront rental were both amazing! She made check in and out so seamless and easy , place was juys wayt we needed As makanda girl I really enjoyed the peaceful private yet safe neighborhood feel a lot It was wonderful to sit on that bench and watch the sunset over the lake and was so serene Hope to stay there again sometime Ashley was great
