Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Jackson County

We had a great time for a short time away for our spring break. We had hiking planned In local state parks and also took a trip to Garden of the gods. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a day away. We enjoyed having a fire and was helpful to have firewood available to use. We saw tons of stars and heard many owls. It was peaceful and a very quiet setting. The house was clean and we loved that it was pet friendly as well. Check it was easy and Allison checked in frequently. Also bonus to have washer and dryer in the home as well. Thank you!

Loved staying at this location. So close to restaurants and shops and outdoor adventures. Very quiet. Amazing views of stars. Plenty of sleeping spaces. Very responsive and helpful host!

Wonderful house and location to SIU. Weather didn't cooperate, but served its purpose!! Thank you for the hospitality and the amazing weekend that was very comfortable for our family of 10! I highly recommend this place, especially for large groups and SIU events!!

Lindsay was a great host, she was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We needed something in Murphysboro to be close to family and everything worked out very well for us. Lindsay was always quick to respond to questions and let us know what was going on, including even things like when scheduled lawn maintenance would take place. Perfect for our needs.

I enjoyed staying here, a close walk to main street Murphysboro, particularly 17th St BBQ. A great location to see and hike the nearby parks.

This was a perfect location to stay while we attended the Shawnee Cave Revival music festival. It was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable. A perfect place to escape from all of the people-ing.

Everything about this place was splendid!! Even in the winter! The place was VERY clean, well-kept, and just felt welcoming!! It was the perfect quiet get-a-way with gorgeous views! We would LOVE to check this lovely place out again in the spring, summer, or fall. Kevin was very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Very charming! We would LOVE to visit again.

Tammy was fantastic and kind. The place was great for a weekend of turkey hunting and close enough to get to the city to shop and find other things to do as well. We would stay again.

Grace’s place is clean, elegant, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished. The old exposed brick exudes warmth. I would stay here again — and I plan to.

Grace is awesome! Great parking, very clean. I felt the location was not great at all, but that’s just me. Grace was a good host. I chose not to stay due to safety concerns.

I booked with Ellen the day I needed to check in. My daughter unexpectedly had to deliver her baby 4 weeks early and I was on deck to help out post deliver. Ellen was quick to reply on my booking request. She was curious, thoughtful, and guiding. The unit was the perfect size for me and organized well for the space. I loved the serenity, the chickens, and hearing kids playing outside. I will stay again, if available, for my next visit to my daughter!!!

This was a nice, quaint, cozy little place to stay. There's plenty of things throughout the house that Ellen didn't need to include, but having them was a nice little touch of either convenience or aesthetic. Having it be within walking distance of Vienna and the park was a nice perk. For a simple, 2 person getaway, it was a pleasant spot to visit.
