Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Iznajar Reservoir

A beautiful Airbnb with a great view. We loved the view from the balcony and use of the hot tub since it was too cold to use the pool (although we did use for cold plunges). We stayed with a baby so the many stairs weren’t ideal but the living room was large enough our 1 year old could play in there with us watching as it was far enough from the stairs. I wouldn’t recommend for a toddler who is walking and requires baby gates. Loved the town and we were able to drive down to the bottom of the hill then walk along the boardwalk each day. The many restaurants and bars on the beach were great and even in February most things were open. The Airbnb was very clean.

We had a long stay 6 weeks in feb/march 25. our dog was with us for half of the stay. The house is as described, we had quite unusually wet weather for half of our stay but the climate control in the house worked really well so we could be warm in the cool evenings. The house is very cute and spacious and the roof terrace was amazing on the sunny days. Pia told us about some of the lovely walking routes and we enjoyed many of them. There is an easy walk to Competa ( once you get to the top of the village- which is pretty steep) it is fairly flat with wonderful views of the mountains and the sea. I would recommend Maro beach, it has parking ( in winter) and a small beach bar, lovely clear water where you can hire a Kayak 22 euro for 1 hour where you can see a fab waterfall that is only visible from the sea. Adrian's bar in Competa, great for cocktails, very chic. Pia was very responsive as was Chris who lived close by for any issues. A real home from home feel. we had a great time.

If you're heading to Málaga, this is the place to stay! Beautiful, cozy, and private, with an incredible view. It was super comfortable, spotless, and had everything I needed for a perfect stay. But the real highlight? Jose, the host. If I could rate him beyond 5 stars, I’d give him 10! He was beyond amazing, super kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Málaga. Thank you, Jose, for an unforgettable experience!

We loved the apartment. The decor is exquisite and with great attention to detail. The kitchenware is even of high quality, and it has a coffee maker, a kettle… anyway. It was beyond our expectations. Thank you for that magnificent refuge in the center of Granada.

Lovely place, amazing green full of plants patio - loved it. The apartment was cosy, had everything we needed. Juan prepared some fruit, bread, coffee, tea for breakfast. It was great. We were going to Caminitos del Rey and Juan explained very well how to get there, gave some tips and instructions. Very nice people and cosy apartment.

Many thanks to Alfredo for hosting us! We spent two nights in his apartment in Granada and everything was perfect: a place of impeccable cleanliness, spacious, decorated with great taste, and ideally located in the center of the city. The location is perfect for visiting Granada on foot, and the private parking 150m from the apartment is a real asset. Despite its central location, the apartment is super quiet, you can't hear any noise. Alfredo is a perfect host, very responsive, and the information to access the apartment and parking is clear and accurate. We highly recommend it!

Quiet area, a little far from downtown Granada but easy to catch transport to get there. We chose this place because we were traveling by car and wanted an area with parking. It wasn't that easy to find parking, but with some persistence we got it. Maybe because it was the weekend it was a little harder. However our stay was great, the apartment is suitable for two people, with the essentials to spend a few days. It also has the bonus of having information about public transportation and recommendations. Manuel was a great host, available and gave very clear instructions.

Location was perfect. Close to everything, restaurants, attractions and beach. The property was spacious, well equipped, nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were comfortable. The only thing was that we had to walk up the hill and stairs as the property was on top of hill. It is something to note if you are not so fit. Other than that, everything was great.

Gary and Denise gave us a really welcoming reception. The flat was super comfortable and had everything you could need. Also great location for getting to nearby sights.

It was all great! Very conveniently located, quiet, beautiful and private. He even helped us pick up a cell phone we forgot there after check-out! Thank you very much! We look forward to repeating.

The Airbnb met all our expectations and more , we stayed for a month and it felt like home. It is in a local neighborhood, the bakery is right there , market, grocery stores ,restaurants all within 2 blocks. The terrace upstairs is quite spectacular and a great place to sit and catch the sun. Pedro is a great host , he arranged a taxi to pick us up at the airport and he was available to help us out with other transportation arrangements. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Our stay at this beautiful finca was outstanding! By far the most beautiful, cleanest, most well-maintained and luxurious Airbnb we've ever been to. Everything was perfect all around! The location is fantastically quiet in the mountains with magnificent views. The finca is lovingly and stylishly decorated, super cozy, very luxurious - nothing is missing! You feel right at home. Everything was incredibly clean and well maintained. We've never seen anything like this! Even nicer than the pictures :) The commute to the host is super nice, we were warmly welcomed, was always available and we got great tips for the area. All in all, a 10/10. Thanks for having us.

Just back from a wonderful stay at Ashleigh’s gorgeous and peaceful Casa. The view from both inside the property and the terraces was absolutely spectacular at every time of day. Just like the photos. Everything worked perfectly in the home, including a high spec kitchen, and the pool was heated to a very comfortable temperature for swimming, even when the air was a bit chilly. The children were in heaven, and we especially appreciated that there was no additional charge for the heating of the pool. The view from within the pool is second to none- with snow capped mountains to the North and the sea and the Moorish castle all to behold. Truly breathtaking. The layout of the house was ideal for our family, and the location provided much-needed peace and quiet, while it was a 5 minute drive into Salobrena for all the amenities one could need. Ashleigh was very responsive to our questions. We loved every minute of our stay and are already discussing when we might visit again!

A quiet house, well located near Granada, and near Sierra Nevada. Well-equipped, we were very comfortable.

We were at the Villa at the beginning of April for 10 days. The kids really enjoyed swimming in the pool and it was nice that the pool went deep smoothly. A small child could also swim without any help. All kinds of plants and fruit trees grow on top of the yard, which were also allowed to pick fruit. A little avocado full of bags was waiting for us at the reception, which was very nice. Surroundings nice and peaceful and private. Alhaurin el Grande just 10 minutes away from everything. I also feel free to recommend this stay for tes, especially families with small kids.

GENIAL.hemos spent a few great days. The house is better than in the photos. Very spacious and with everything you need both inside and outside. Having a coffee with those views is a luxury. The pool area,and barbecue is very much enjoyed. The best option for relaxation, disconnection and entertainment. Debby as a host showed great kindness and gave us time flexibility in our entry and exit. We will definitely repeat

We had a wonderful month long stay at Lorie’s beautiful villa. It was well equipped for all our cooking and hosting needs. Spacious and comfortable for a group of 8. We enjoyed walking down the hill to the beach (20 min) and taking day trips to nearby Nerja, Granada, Malaga, Solabrena, and further to Seville and Ronda. Watching the sunrise over the hills and sea from the front patio with the stunning view will be etched in our memories of this happy time in La Herradura. The village itself is quiet and less touristy than others but with plenty of restaurants and activities for the family. Lorie was quick to respond to all our requests and a gracious host.

We had a wonderful visit. Communication was totally responsive. Village a delight. Everything as expected.

From start to finish staying at Casa Rey was a first class experience. The communication from Debbie was great. We asked loads of questions and always received a prompt response. Although like many villas it was off the main road, the directions and helpful pin drop made finding the villa at night no problem at all. The villa and apartment were spotlessly clean, very well equipped and just as described. But the best bit came in the morning when you open the shutters for the first time, the view was breathtaking, total paradise. There were six of us staying at the villa, including four teenagers and they liked nothing better than lounging around the pool all day, particularly as the WiFi was so good. Competa town is a short drive away and we had some lovely evenings out at local restaurants/bars, with Casa Adriano being our favourite, if you get the opportunity try the tex mex nachos in the day time (food is served until 6pm). We will definitely be back to stay at Casa Rey.
