Cottage vacation rentals in Iznajar Reservoir

Peaceful stay for a week. Beautiful elevated location with panoramic views. Rocabella restaurant at the bottom of the track was great if you dont feel like venturing out far, with a varied menu from light bites to main dishes with burgers, steaks and fish.. My advice would would be to grab some basic groceries from a supermarket prior to going up to the house i.e coffee, bread eggs , drinks etc. I travelled with my ederly mother and the accomodation was suitable for our needs as she is unable to manage steps. There is one twin room downstairs with a bathroom and walk in shower which is next to the kitchen , lounge and outside patio so easy access for her with limited mobility. its would not be suitable for a wheelchair however. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with doors opening onto a patio with table and chairs, perfect for your morning coffee to relish the sun rise and sunsets, and also affording privacy if travelling with others in your group. I throughly enjoyed my stay. 😊

At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful weekend in Monte Naturivo! The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful nature and is the perfect place to unwind. Everything was absolutely clean and very well maintained – you can tell how much love is put into every detail here. We were particularly enthusiastic about the great pool, the relaxing hammam and the beautiful yoga room – ideal for switching off and feeling good. The hostess was incredibly friendly and warm, we felt welcome from the first moment. Monte Naturivo is really a special place that we highly recommend to everyone.

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

incredible stay, very quiet, very nice neighbors, a beautiful castle, the residential area is wonderful, the house is great and the views are unparalleled!! absolutely with all the amenities, everything you need in the kitchen and even more! Communication was amazing, he was always available and the directions were also very accurate. We are very grateful for absolutely everything.

The property is really tucked away and you have to pay attention to the directions otherwise you’ll struggle to find it, but this is typical in this region. Even though we arrived late (approximately 11.00pm) getting into the property was very easy. Each room has its own heating/cooling system so we got to the temperature we wanted very quickly. Overall, everyone (there were 8 of us) was happy with the accommodation inside. Outside is just perfect. Lovely pool and jacuzzi, 8 sun loungers, tables and chairs for all, and a great barbecue.

We had a wonderful week at casa Fuentezuelas. The house and it’s surroundings were even more beautiful than the pictures showed. Breathtaking view and very peaceful. The house was very clean and charming and had everything we needed.

The stay at Angel's "Las Lavaderas" was excellent. Due to the quiet and private atmosphere, we recovered well. A perfect place to relax. The house is equipped with everything you need. Communication with Angel worked perfectly, friendly and always promptly.

This was one of the best holidays we have had. The mountains are incredibly beautiful, the town is not too far away, Malaga is great for beaches, town, restaurants, shopping and history! Juan is very friendly and happy to help and manager Jenni is always on hand to answer questions and visit to make sure that everything is going smoothly. The pool is compact but still wonderful for a dip at any time. It is clean and very well maintained. The terrace is beautiful to sit at all times. This is a wonderful place. Thank you for our stay!

A gem in the middle of the hills surrounded by nature. The location of the house is simply wonderful. You have a 360-degree panoramic view. The pool is flat at the front and 2 meters deep at the back so you can jump in easily. The area offers many seating and lounging areas to linger. The house is charmingly built in the Spanish style and very clean. There is nothing missing, whether electric orange juicer, coffee machine, etc. Everything necessary is available. Spices, aluminum foil, shampoo, shower gel, garbage bags, toilet paper, towels, everything was available in sufficient quantity, we didn't have to buy anything. We felt completely comfortable. The town of Colin is 5 km away. There you will find a variety of restaurants and supermarkets, which we also appreciated. Jesus is a very nice, courteous landlord who is immediately available for any problems or questions and provides remedies. Thank Jesus for such a nice time in your house.

We stayed at this beautiful place for four days. The village is secluded and only accessible via a bumpy road. But you are in a beautiful hiking area and have a great house away from the hustle and bustle. Right next door is a small restaurant with nice Belgian owners. It's even nicer than the photos. Overall, great recommendation.

I cannot recommend Catalina as a host, highly enough. Her place is spotless, beautifully, decorated, and practical. It has everything you could possibly need from the kitchen to the bathroom to the living room , to the bedroom. It is a peaceful, beautiful, serene place to stay So much so that I often did not want to leave it. Catalina is extremely responsive as a host and anticipates all of your needs. As a host myself, I appreciate all of her efforts and recommend her place very highly.

Quietly located in the hills around Alcoucin, William and Simone's cottage hides under the smell of the bougainvillea and the shade of the surrounding olive trees. A true oasis an hour's drive from the beautiful city of Malaga and the charming Torre del Mar. The cottage really offers everything you need. Fast WiFi connection, a beautiful bedroom with great bed, a spacious bathroom, a well-equipped kitchenette and not to mention, the beautifully located swimming pool. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the apartment (studio) by the pool. Tastefully decorated, in which everything is available to enjoy a carefree vacation. What a wonderful stay! The communication before and during our stay was very smooth, fast and pleasant. We were met on arrival at the agreed place by Gert & Bruno, from where they escorted us to the higher location where we got a tour of the grounds from Gert. What a service! And on top of that, what a beautiful view. Upon arrival, a bottle of cold bubbles, eggs from their own chickens and quails as well as lemons that came in handy for the salad and the Vermouth. Gert gave us great tips on what to do in the area, including for our trip to Malaga. And we enjoyed the four sweet dogs, each with their own character. We felt very much at home. Thank you for the flexibility and nice time in your paradise!

Eva and her husband were very kind and laid back. The pool space is a 10. Felt like a private high end villa hanging out by the pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The house is super cozy and the terrace is fantastic. We had a heat wave, but the terrace offers enough shade that you can stay there very well. The house is air-conditioned anyway. The village is so beautiful. There are a few bars and restaurants where you can eat very well. People are very friendly. You can tell that mass tourism has not yet arrived. This gives you an impression of the life of the locals. A beach can also be reached in 20 minutes by car. If you have any questions, Maria can always be reached. How we felt with her there is hard to describe in words. She is a wonderful and lovable person. Thanks for the wonderful time.

If you're looking to get away from the crowds, this is the place. Incredible view.....exactly like the picture. Easy day trips to Ronda, Frigilliana, Nerja & Granada. Maria was very responsive and gave us loads of recommendations upon arrival. Would definitely stay here again.

We had the most wonderful week at Eva's beautiful home. It's truly a magnificent property in breathtaking surroundings. It's been sympathetically restored and is equipped with everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing self-catering holiday. Eva was the perfect host - always responsive and going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She also shared recommendations on where to eat and provided valuable information about the area. Another highlight of our stay was Bob, Eva's gorgeous dog. He's incredibly friendly with a real character and playing fetch with him every day was a real treat. One thing worth noting is that the road leading to the property can be a bit tricky to navigate at first. However, Eva was incredibly helpful and met us at the top of the road on our arrival day to guide us in. Once we got the hang of it, it was a breeze. We highly recommend this lovely location, especially if you're looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle.

Lovely cabin in the woods, cut off from stresses and strains of life. A challenging drive but well worth it. Sabina and Walter were helpful throughout. Loved our stay there and would go back. Thx again.
