The Quarterdeck-nautical style self-catering cabin

When the cut and thrust of life on the high seas is getting too much or you need a sheltered berth to ride out bad weather, the Quarterdeck at Croft No3 in Camustianavaig on the Isle of Skye will do handsomely and only five minutes walk from a pretty anchorage this nautical styled self-catering will provide a cosy bunk for two. Croft House Bothy in Heart of Highlands

We worked closely with our friends at the award winning Corr Cabins to create a tranquil and luxurious get away on the beautiful Isle of Skye! Cabin Beo is located beside our home and takes in the breathtaking views over Portree Bay and over to the Old Man of Storr, from its full size picture window. The cabin comes fully equipped with a wood burning stove, kitchenette, luxurious king size bed and full bathroom.

Sustainability is key to our way of life. We grow vegetables and keep chickens for their eggs. We burn locally grown wood and our water is heated by the sun. Our water supply is from a spring and reputed to be blessed by St Columba. Our electricity is generated by a renewables sources and distributed by Eigg Electric. There are stunning views in all directions - over the Atlantic to the Isle of Rum, behind to dramatic basalt cliffs plus scenic beaches and waterfalls situated close by.
