Vacation rentals with a patio in Island of Ortigia

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is very convenient and central to all the shops and restaurants. Don’t miss out on the amazing view from the balcony!

This is a wonderful location and spade. The host has three separate units in the same place so this is excellent for a group of people travelling together like us. We had rented 2 of the three spaces. There is a lovely outdoor living space where we would meeting in the evenings Our first night we did have an issue with the hot water but the host responded immediately and it was fixed promptly. Host gifted us beautiful desserts to make up for the inconvenience. The space itself is modern, functional and clean. It is very comfortable and the host has paid a lot of attention to detail such a as proving umbrellas, coffee, water and snacks to get you started. We had a rental car and it was easy to find parking. Bonus is the nice cafe right at the entrance of the suite and you can easily grant coffee or an apertivo. The location is a 15 min walk to Ortega/ downtown Siracusa. I recommend this space and I hope to stay in it again in the future.

Excellent location to explore Ortigia, simple to find and navigate local transport. Light sleepers will need to be cautious of the nightlife under the apartment. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Most comfortable beds we have had in the past 3 weeks travelling. Parking is hit and miss but managed to get o ne close after a few goes. Only one bed made up but Andrea was responsive and directed us to sheets to make it ourselves. Easy to walk down to ortigia without the extra hassle of parking there. All in all a beautifully renovated apartment.

We’re a couple in our ‘60’s & loved that Marianne’s apartment was ground floor so no stairs! It’s off a small piazza & once you go through the door into the courtyard it’s very secure & private. There are several other apartments in the building & everyone we met whether a resident or traveller was very friendly. I loved sitting outside in the courtyard late afternoon with a wine. Marianne’s colleague, Giorgia, met us at the apartment to take us through everything & was always very responsive if we called her with a query. We were permitted early check in which was a bonus. This is Sicily, people, so a lot of the old buildings have a musty damp smell particularly after rain. We’ve become used to it after a few weeks here - just open up the windows & doors & let the fresh air through. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was great & it was perfectly located to everything we wanted to see & do. We ended up staying an additional night because we just loved the apartment & Ortigia.

Perfect location. Not a bad walk from train station. Host worked with us on an earlier check-in which was much appreciated. There are a couple of flights of stairs, but there is a very small elevator if needed. Apartment was perfect for our family of 8. Comfortable beds, and very clean. We spent most our time across the bridge in Ortigia. Loved our visit, hope to return in near future.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Siracusa, le logement est très bien passé et très bien équipé. Tout le nécessaire y est. Ortigia est accessible à pied et ça c'est un point très positif. On trouve très facilement des places dans la rue de l'appartement pour se garer. Je recommande sans hésitation ce logement. Merci pour tout.

Andrea's place is terrific - located a group of houses in a quiet area ~20 min drive from Siracusa with gated access that feels "remote". The house itself is half of a duplex and is exactly like the pictures in the listing - it is modern and clean and incredibly well furnished and stocked to feel like home. The beds were comfortable (firm), kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking, AC worked great, Wifi was excellent (fast upload speeds), and clothes washer was also good. There was a small hot tub in the backyard that worked OK (took a long time to heat up, but was then fine). There is a rock / rocky beach at the end of the street nearby, but we suggest that you use the 2 beach umbrellas and beach towels that are provided and go to either Spiaggia Punta Carrozza or Spiaggia del Minareto, both are ~10 min drive away. Communication with Andrea was good, and we appreciated his flexibility for our early check-in. Overall, highly recommended.

We stayed at this house for a week with 4 people and had a really good time there. We were working most days which worked very well because of all the different areas to sit. The location is very quite and close to the rocky coast. We enjoyed the hikes along the sea. Except for this, there isn’t much to do in walking distance. We recommend a car for sure. The communication with the hosts was extraordinary. They gave us recommendations and the checkout was flexible which was convenient for us.

Abbiamo soggiornato da Armando per due notti e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La posizione è tranquilla, nelle campagne siracusane, vicino alle stupende spiagge Le Fontane Bianche, Ognina, Arenella ecc. e a pochi km dalla bella ma confusionaria Siracusa. L'alloggio era perfettamente pulito e dotato di tutto il necessario, piccola cucina, frigorifero, letto comodo, aria condizionata, un piccolo ingresso con tavolino sedie ed ombrellone, stendino per i panni ecc. Armando è stato molto gentile e disponibile e ci ha fornito ottimi consigli. Se ci sarà l'occasione, torneremo senz'altro nel suo alloggio.

Beautifully decorated and neat little place within easy walking distance of Ortigia and surrounding attractions. Simone was a fabulous and helpful host.

The Villa is located in a very beautiful Location. But I do have to mention the Street to get there can be tough. For us it was no problem though. The communication with Andrew was very good and he is very friendly. He was always happy to help. The Villa has everything you need, especially for cooking. We stayed hhree nights and for this the Villa was Great.

Giuliana was a wonderful host – warm, welcoming, and always discreet. Her beautiful Shanti is a truly special place: the house is stunning, peaceful, and the pool adds a magical touch. We felt at home from the very first moment. Giuliana was always available with helpful suggestions and made our stay in Sicily even more enjoyable. Her kindness and care made a real difference. This has been a holiday we will always remember with joy. Thank you, Giuliana, from all of us – we hope to return soon to this little oasis of peace.

C'était tout simplement parfait. la maison est idéale tant par l'emplacement que par sa conception et ses prestations. on a énormément apprécié la terrasse, la proximité de la petite plage au pied du restaurant familial. Le breakfast offert par la maman de Michel Angelo était très généreux et plein de bonnes intentions. C'est l'esprit même de ce que doit être un hôte : générosité, réactivité, professionnalisme. Superbe séjour à Fanusa. 10 min en voiture du centre de Syracuse. Jardin tropical et luxuriant. Maison agréable et rassemblant toutes commodités. Quartier au calme. Quelques bugs de wifi. Mais une très bonne réactivité de nos hôtes. 👍👍👍 merci pour le séjour !

Check-in process was easy and apartment was as pictured on AirBnB. Host was very responsive and helpful. Location is in a very quiet seemingly residential area. We were able to rent a car and find public on-street parking within 2-3 blocks of the apartment (last week of May). Driving into Siracusa from the airport was not bad if you are used to any sort of city driving. 15 minute walk to Ortigia which is a busy area with many restaraunts and great views. We stayed here a few nights and used it as a base to see Ortigia, Noto, Brucoli, and even Taormina via car. Walking back to apartment after dark was through empty streets (some more well-lit than others). This is an ideal place for anyone looking for a quiet base of operations to either walk to Ortigia or experience the areas surrounding Siracusa. If we had known how accessible the area was with a car and how fun it was to drive up and down the coast, we would have booked our entire stay here.

Great place to stay! Giuseppa is very generous and truly cares about her guests. Would stay here again if I ever return to Siracusa.

We really enjoyed our time in Ortigia at Jessica’s apartment. It is situated in a lovely area, close to the seafront and lots of nice bars and restaurants. The double bed was also very comfortable. Shower pressure is a little low but I think that may be a general issue in Ortigia. Jessica was very responsive and helpful and left some helpful items in the kitchen like bottles of water, coffee capsules, oil, salt and pepper.

Appartamento spazioso ed arredato con gusto, pulito ed ordinato. Antonio sempre pronto a rispondere in qualsiasi momento, con garbo ed educazione. Unica pecca, il fatto che non sia perfettamente centrale, poiché un po' fuori da Ortigia; ad ogni modo, è abbastanza vicino da potercisi muovere a piedi senza alcun problema. Il prezzo è ottimo, assolutamente conveniente! In generale, è stata un'ottima esperienza.

We loved our stay at Gianna's place in Ortigia. Perfect location, spacious and clean apartment, great comms. Flexible check in time, helped us store our bags on our last day after check out. Would stay again!

Spacious apartment very near bridge to Ortigia. Has two bedrooms, one very spacious and other small one. Kitchen, where you can also cook your own meals. Has all the basic equipment for short stay longer stay, but for longer stay you of course might need get some own too. There is some traffic noise, but hey, it is in the city where you have all the restaurants, shops, cafeterias within walking distance! We spend many weeks here and we're very satisfied of the apartment and it's location and everything of it. Host was kind, communication was clear and solved one problem we encountered very very quickly. Recommended!
