The house was beautiful, loved that each room had its own private bath with a shower. That was a huge plus. Kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable. Paul was very responsive even when we experienced an issue he was on top of it getting us what we needed. Will definitely visit again.

Had a fantastic stay! Perfect if you wanna be on the water. Town was cute and accessible. Very charming, especially at night. House well stocked with what you could need. Underrated fall stay -- colors are amazing!!!Bathroom very small tho, not the most plus size friendly.

Upon arrival, it was easy to find and easy to get into. It is right on Lake Huron and the beach itself is immaculate. The space was beautifully decorated and had all kinds of useful amenities. It was really cozy. :) Amazing experience! Will be back!

We felt blessed to be able to find Terrie's home while we waited out a power outage during the great ice storm of 2025. The location was in a safe quiet neighborhood that was close to great restaurants and shopping. The house was clean and nicely decorated with everything we needed to feel at home. We would stay here again if in the area.

I had a wonderful time here! So peaceful and private, great outdoor space, and the home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated! I felt right at home and was able to be comfortable quickly! Rachel was quick to respond, provided recommendations, and the pricing was perfect! Highly recommend for a family getaway, couples retreat, or even a solo mom trip (like myself)! First and foremost Our Host Cassandra was awesome from the time we booked till we left.❤️ We had our first family vacation here and the location and the fishing and the whole area with the beach right down the road was absolutely perfect and beautiful!! Exactly what we wanted!! Also the fully stocked kitchen plus the other one lol was awesome even tho we didn’t even use the upstairs kitchen it was awesome to have it ❤️ My family and I truly recommend this cabin aka RIVER HOUSE 🥰 p.s. We left wood for the next family 🥰

This home was perfect for our needs. We were in town to visit family over the holiday and simply needed a place to lay our heads at night. The home was much more. It’s small but perfect for 2 couples. We enjoyed the WiFi and were easily able to connect and watch some college football to wind down at the end of the day. The carport was huge. It rained a lot that weekend and I was able to fit my F350 long box under to avoid loading and unloading in the rain. We will definitely be looking to come back to this place in the future.

Great spot! We really appreciated that the house was stocked with dishes and cooking essentials. We like to cook so it made it so easy. I loved the use of the August app for access to the house-super convenient. I also loved that there were extra blankets for every bed! The TV room was cozy and my son and my partner both liked that the TV was big.

Rachel was a fantastic host who truly cares about her guests’ experiences. You can tell that a lot of hard work has gone into the space and she is doing a fantastic job. The decor was very fitting for a beach location and the place was very clean and inviting. The resort is a work in progress, but if the whole thing turns out as well as the freshly renovated unit that we stayed in, it will thrive as a top destination in Oscoda for years to come. Rachel’s communication was top notch and we really enjoyed our stay.
