Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Intracoastal Waterway

I love staying at Sheila’s place. I’m a return customer. Her place is a nice little no frills place off the beach. It’s immaculately cleaned The area is very walkable to the boardwalk. It’s comfortable and I feel safe when I am there. There is some noise as it’s close to “the action” but that’s a part of the appeal. The place does allow pets however there is a weight restriction so if you plan on taking your pet you must talk with her when you book the place. Sheila herself is super communicative. She is kind and respectful. You really cannot go wrong with this diamond in the rough.

Super cute house with a very cozy vibe. It was very well stocked with all necessities that were needed. Great floor plan with bathrooms in all 3 bedrooms. Felt like home.

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. Caylan and Jennah were super thoughtful and helpful hosts. Can’t wait to come back!

Min and Glen have an awesome place, great location and not far from the beach. We love bringing our dog on trips and Min and Glen were very accommodating. Also we had to change dates and Min made it stress free. We would totally stay at the City Woes 2 Sandy Toes again.

We had a great stay at Kolleen’s place. Loved the front screened porch to relax in and listen to the birds. Was very peaceful. We came down for Easter and to visit my son, who lives in Oak Island. Kolleen’s place was just as described and had plenty of room for my family of 5. We even hosted dinner, one evening, for 7 of us (plus 2 dogs) and there was plenty of room. The walk to the beach was not bad at all, just a little tricky crossing the main road (but doable). The bikes were an added plus. Would definitely stay here again.

You couldn’t ask for a better little beach trip! Took a couple days to get away and the accommodations were perfect for my dog and I. Private, quiet, beautiful beachfront views and the fenced in area was perfect for my dog. Mikes place was clean, had everything I needed, and very comfortable. Loved it so much I booked a second stay!

We needed a short-term rental while our home was being completed, and Brandi's home was the perfect fit. The location was ideal—close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The spacious yard was great for our pups, and the quiet neighborhood provided a lovely setting for walks. Brandi was incredibly welcoming and ensured we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. If I were simply visiting the area, I would highly recommend this location, as it offers convenient access to a variety of attractions, from Myrtle Beach to Wilmington.

Excellent location. We walked to the boardwalk - about 25 min leisurely walk. Broadway on the beach was a 5 min drive. Many restaurants short drive or walking distance. View was perfect. Small grassy park next to parking lot for dogs. Easy access to beach. Outside pool was pristine. Inside pool, hot tub and lazy river were just ok (need cleaning and updates) but my kids enjoyed them. Enjoyed having coffee counter (served Starbucks) and restaurant (delicious breakfast) on site. Pleasantly surprised soaps, dish soap, etc provided - didn’t need to purchase any extra supplies for our 3 days. Great stay for my fam -including our dog! Clean floors and furniture, direct beach access, condo as described. Extra outlets in bedroom were considerate. The ACs running were a little loud for my liking. The Patricia Grand complex compared to a 3 star hotel in my opinion but was very dog friendly which was my priority for this stay. Thank you for a great option for my whole family!

Our family spent Thanksgiving 2024 here. We loved it! Even the dog loved it! Close to the beach and restaurants and quiet. We even got to use the pool before it got too cold. Washer and dryer were easily accessible and the kitchen was perfect for all of the cooking that we did. Next time we need a place we will check with Clyde first to see what’s available. Thank you!

This place was GREAT! My family and I had enough space for all 8 of us! The kitchen had everything we needed to make all our meals. We were right in the middle of everything! We were able to walk to the beach and to the surrounding stores and restaurants. All the rooms have their own TV so we weren’t fighting over the remote. If I had to choose one thing, I would say I was only disappointed that the pool water wasn’t warmer for what we paid for it :( Again, the host communicated very well and said that it was on a timer, but it seemed like it never warmed up so I didn’t swim but, my kids still swam and loved it! We were down for my daughter‘s birthday, and the host made a great recommendation for ice cream, which was one of my daughters request for the trip. This property is definitely a must stay!

Great location, and a great time. Backyard with pool is perfect with plenty of room for activities and entertaining. You can walk to the beach and restaurants within minutes.

Cliff is always great and responsive. We have rented his places before and it has always been a great experience. Thanks again for another great stay!

To begin with, Alex was a great host, the communication and accommodation were fantastic. Responsive to our needs from an early check to a late check out. The house was a wonderful place to stay we had a large group of 12 and everyone had plenty of space. We enjoy the stay and also enjoy the amenities like the pool table, unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool because of the weather but other wise we enjoy our stay.

Very nice place. We were out in Myrtle for a golf trip so the putting green was a nice touch

So nice we had to come back! It’s our second stay at Heather’s place. Always feel right at home. Love the backyard and pool. Everything we needed to produce an Easter meal and more. Our four legged baby loves it and we got in a lot of beach walks. What else can I say? Family and Pet friendly just what we were looking for in a holiday weekend. Bonus close enough to CCU spend some quality time with our college student 😀

Very cozy, perfect beach cottage vibes. We felt comfortable and at home immediately. One of the best "stocked" homes we've ever rented, kitchen, blankets, beach gear, you're pretty much set. The beach is just across the road, something I always shoot for since our pooch loves her walks along the ocean. Everything is well organized and written out where it can be found. Such an aid during your stay! Ashley was a great host, provides easy instructions for all your possible house needs and checks in to assure all is good and you have what you need. Thank you Ashley!

Convenient location, within walking distance of beach, shops and restaraunts. Clean and roomy, well situated with amenities listed. Great Sunny porch at the entrance.

This was the best birthday and couples trip of the year. Ms. Sallie made sure that we were welcomed and knowledgeable of our stay. We will return for another relaxation trip. Sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the morning was the best of the best. Thank you again

Absolutely amazing!! I couldn't have been happier! Beautiful neighborhood that was peaceful and we felt safe. Walking inside, we were blown away, relaxing coloring, beautifully decorated, but best of all it felt so homey! The attention to details of extra blankets to cover furniture to snuggle with your pet, goodies for us and our dog (incl. a personal note), everything clean, plenty of dishes, towels, extra soaps, and toothbrushes etc. was fantastic! The home had a comfortable couch, plenty of seating everywhere, extremely comfortable beds, great large TVs and TWO outdoor sitting areas. My favorite was the back patio with outdoor lights!! On top of all that, the yard was fully fenced, spacious, private, amazing for pets or children, even a fire pit w/ seating!! My family and I felt so at home! Savannah was an amazing host, friendly, accommodating and understanding with great communication! The beach, shopping and restaurants are close. We would absolutely love to book again! ❤️

great spacious home, nearby beaches, grocery store, and reasonable trip to the airport. Host was friendly and checked in with us to make sure everything was good. really enjoyed this one.

Amy’s place was perfect for our weekend away with our pup. Great and convenient location right across the street from the beach access. Amy was great with communication and provided some great recommendations for us! We would stay here again!

The space was exactly as described and Diane was super responsive and helpful. The kids loved the hot tub, there were tons of unexpected amenities (waffle maker! Cupcake liners!) which made for more breakfast and snack options. Be sure to plan for renting a car - while there is a nice restaurant next door, you’ll need it to get around. I would recommend planning a stop to the carnivorous plant garden while you’re in town!
