Having grown up in the area, Kennel Farm is the place we choose to come back for our family holiday every year. We love the house and surroundings. Excellent location and Tanya is a perfect host. Highly recommend.

We had lovely stay ! Beautiful, comfortable home in a picturesque setting. Very well equipped, had everything we needed. Venetia was very welcoming and helpful. Incredible value. Would visit again in an instant!

Great stay that gives you so much more than you would get for the same price as a Travelodge. Small but well laid out and ample room for 2 + infant and a dog. We particularly enjoyed the location.

Had a wonderful stay at the Hayloft and enjoyed several amazing meals out at places Lucy recommended. We loved the outdoor bath and spending time relaxing in the deck chairs on the little terrace. This area was also perfect for drying our wetsuits after surfing at Westward Ho! With Westward Waves surf school! The wet room bathroom was fab and there was plenty of room and storage in the house. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend to our friends!

Lovely home, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Great for 4 legged friends with a secure garden and suitable furnishings etc. The home is in a lovely area , with great views over the estuary from the rear of the house, particularly the main bedroom. Bideford itself is very pretty and a good base for exploring North Devon as it is close to the A39 / Atlantic Highway.

We really enjoyed our stay in Appledore. The house was a great base, and was home from home. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed. Comfortable beds. No parking at the property, but we always managed to find somewhere. Parking for 24 hours in the car park was £5.50. Dog towels, bed and bowl was a nice touch. 😊 We had a lovely meal at the Flame Factory, and would recommend to others. We received a warm welcome in any of the pubs/ restaurants that we visited, and many had live music on different nights. We would return again.

Excellent host, super responsive and extremely helpful. The house worked for our needs of two families with young children. It is a rabbit warren with the construction of old and new, this was of course very exciting for the children and it meant everyone had their spaces. Location, one minute from the waters edge, amazing local bakery and lovely little shop. We parked in car park at the top of the hill (3-5 mins walk) due to the narrow streets and our large cars. It was super simple and cost effective. Even better we didn’t use our cars for the 3 days in appledore. Lovely little north Devon town, nice walk to westward ho along the coast (even in the rain and wind) Instow was lovely but we didn’t have to drive on route home due to high winds and no running ferry. Highly worth the visit though great space for dog walks, beach cricket and lots of general fun. We had a great time and would recommend Phil’s place

Well, it’s safe to say we will be returning! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were made to feel at home. Sarah and Bee were incredibly welcoming hosts, taking us for a tour of our lodge as well as explaining in detail where all of the facilities were on site within 15minutes of arrival. We had everything we needed and more. Our one requirement was that we felt we could relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of a city. That we did! Located in a dark sky reserve, we had the pleasure of spending the evenings under the stars, listening to the wildlife, and spending quality time together. We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

A lovely lodge in a small holiday park, the pool was an added bonus (outside and unheated but nice for a quick dip!)

We loved our stay at Anna’s place. It’s in the beautiful North Devon countryside but well situated to explore the rest of the area. We enjoyed using the pool but meeting the animals was definitely a highlight! We’ll be back to stay again :)

We had such a wonderful stay in the Corner Cottage at Corffe Cottages. We loved the cottage which was comfortable and clean. The pool is great fun and all of the other amenities to use were an added bonus. Pizza night was fun and great location.

We loved our trip to Goodleigh. The farm was beautiful, the stables were beautiful - the hot tub was a real treat. The kids loved the rope swing and we played many of the games. The place was just beautiful, the decor, location and comfy beds were perfect for our week away. We visited some lovely beaches (30 min drive tops), Combe Martin and Lynton/ Lynmouth were favourites of ours. We visited a recommended pub - The Black Venus Inn was amazing, food was great. A perfect week and would 100% recommend.

We had a great stay here. I’d actually say it’s better than the photos, the bedrooms are really cosy and beautifully decorated. There were lots of nice small touches and everything was done to a really high degree of thought. Everything from the bbq to the kettle was of very good quality and matched the decor really well. The pool was lovely and they even came and gave us cushions for the loungers while we were out there. Highly recommend we had a lovely stay.

Well what can I say. Holly & Oliver are absolutely brilliant. Very kind and got back to me messages quickly. The house was absolutely spotless. probably the cleanest Air b&b ive stayed in. The house had absolutely everything you needed. And also very sweet gift in the fridge. We will be staying again, and have recommended the place to family and friends 🧡

A fantastic find, great location. Easy walk to the beach, very close to coffee shops, pub and restaurants. Beautiful long sandy beach. The house was perfect for us and our dog. Simon was very helpful and quick to respond.

Such a neat and cozy place to stay! Within walking distance of all things necessary, quaint and quiet little private garden area, great for post-beach relaxing. Extremely well catered; Most certainly felt like a home away from home. Will love to be back soon

A beautiful cottage only a stones throw from the quay. Fabulous lounge with log burner, a beautiful private garden and everything you need for a weekend or week away. Great communication from our hosts with flexibility on arrival time and a lovely welcome. Thanks for a fantastic weekend!

We had a lovely few days staying here. This is a lovely spacious flat with beautiful views over the estuary. It is on a lovely quiet lane, walking distance to pubs , the quay, play ground and shop. It is on the coastal path . It has a slip way right next to it that is not shown on the photos.

Perfect for my needs in terms of facilities and comfort. Very dog-friendly, though mine was surprised by the stairs and fell down. She was shaken not stirred and loved having the balcony to enjoy stretching out in the sunshine.

We had a brilliant stay at Hideaway Cottage. It was well equipped, comfortable for 4 adults and the views (and sunsets) from the garden were absolutely stunning. Appledore itself is a perfect location to explore North Devon. Thanks also for the cream tea!

We had a great time staying at the Old School house. The house was clean and well equipped to a high spec. The bathrooms seemed to have been very recently refurbished and the living areas were large and airy. Yhe kitchen was very well equipped with lots of preparation space.
