Come and enjoy a rural retreat in our newly converted barn with unrivalled views over Exmoor and a cosy chic interior. Situated privately within a working farm, relax on the spacious patio, secluded garden or in the luxury hot tub. Each bedroom has a spacious ensuite with stand alone bath and walk-in shower. Underfloor heating and a cosy wood-burner. There is an EV charger at the barn. Beaches and moorland all within a half hour drive. Being within a working farm, sadly we cannot allow dogs.

Clare Cottage is set in the heart of the peaceful Devon village Georgeham near to a trickling stream. With its pretty white washed exterior and walled cottage garden the house sits to the side of the historic 13th century St George Church. Putsborough beach a 2 mile stretch of sand is a 1.4 mile drive down a country lane or a 25 minute walk across fields. Croyde village is 1.6 miles drive The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving fine pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.

The Coach House

LOXHORE, a village and a parish near Barnstaple, North Devon. The village stands on a hill, amid beautiful scenery, 5¼ miles from the main town of Barnstaple. The Coach House is in the grounds of The Old Rectory, it enjoys open views across the Devon countryside and is only a short walk to the entrance to Deer Park Woods, part of the Arlington Court Estate. It must be noted that Loxhore is around 3.6 miles to the nearest pub. The fabulous north Devon beaches are a short drive away.

If you don't fancy cooking the pub is less than a 5-minute walk. Perfectly located on the Tarka trail for cycling or walkin and within easy reach of great surf beaches, not to mention the beautiful Instow which is perfect for estuary walks and eating out. The Tarka Trail is accessible in 10 minutes on foot with Bideford and Barnstaple easily accessible by car. We accept one well behaved dog and you will find the beach and all the pubs and restaurants in Instow are equally as dog friendly.
