In an idyllic location, the apartment is located at 900 meters, surrounded by picturesque nature, just a 5 minute walk away from Rottachsee, in front of the imposing backdrop of the beginning "2000" mountains. On the balcony, they enjoy the view of the hills and mountains of the Allgäu Voralpenland. We rent our beautiful “forest house” to nature lovers and family communities. On the idyllic, large property with forest panorama you can enjoy nature. The hiking trails start right outside the front door. The stream is only a few meters away. Therefore, a romantic, relaxing rustling and rippling can be heard in the garden. The sauna invites you to relax, but there is also something for the little ones… including a climbing frame with slide & swing & trampoline ;)

You will stay in a newly built farmhouse. The apartment has a family bed (2.70 m x 2 m). Cozy living-dining area with access to the balcony from there with a view of the mountains. Sofa bed for 2 more people. Dining area for at least 6 people. In summer, there is a pool for shared use outdoors. In the winter months, we have our sauna in operation. Here you can relax on cold autumn or winter days. Very large bathroom with family shower. Plus local tourist tax.

Shepherd's hut "Wolkakratzer" near Wolfegg

Wake up in the morning overlooking the Achtal and enjoy the view of Wolfegg Castle all the way to the Allgäu Alps. You can set up the chair and table in or in front of the trailer and take a break from everyday life on the edge of the donkey pasture. If you would like an organic quality breakfast (€15/person), you can order it from us on site or buy something for your stay in our organic shop. It's worth staying more than one night...

[2] Vacation apartment on the organic farm

The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a farmhouse. Until March 2024, organic hay milk was produced. Now, due to our retirement, we limit ourselves to raising cows and producing hay for organic hay milk. The cowshed can be visited by appointment during the winter months. Families welcome! A baby bed & high chair can be provided. Outdoor furniture can also be used. Also a swing and sandbox.

Holiday Home with splendid views

Welcome to our appartment on Rottachsee in Petersthal. The appartment has two rooms with about 71 sqm. The whole living area is designed with wooden floors . A well-equipped fitted kitchen with hob , oven, fridge, coffee machine, etc. is available. We recommend the arrival by car, since the nearest train station is about 8 km away and there is no public transport on site!

Enjoy the natural beauty surrounding this historic getaway. The former, almost 200-year-old sawmill is surrounded by nature reserves and borders directly on a stream. A private source supplies the property with excellent drinking water. In addition to the charm of an old, cozy house, the property has plenty of space and room for privacy.
