This was the perfect gateway for the weekend. we wanted a quiet country side home to relax and this was the place. the breakfast served in the morning was outstanding. the hot tub and sauna were the highlight of the stay. the hosts are kind and very friendly. I appreciated the freedom of amenities. it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. I would highly recommend this b&b to anyone looking to get away from the city and slow down for a few days.

We had a great stay! Hosts were super accommodating and we had everything we needed. Location is beautiful, right beside the beach, with stunning views of the lake. Really liked how quiet the place was, we would definitely book again!

We had such a fantastic stay at Dave and Bonnie's place! We decided to make a trip up to lakefield and wanted to get away and it was perfect. It's right beside the river if you want to ride the trail but its also perfect if you want to just stay in. The hot tub and sauna is such a great combination to enjoy and enough amenities indoors that you can cook a nice meal and enjoy a movie. The bed was perfectly soft and the washroom was great. They were very responsive and we can't wait to go back. If you're taking a trip to Lakefield, definitely stop looking and book this!

Lynn is a very friendly, warm person who makes sure that you are comfortable and has all of your questions answered. We were surprised to learn that breakfast is included as well.

Lesley and Josh's Airbnb made our home away from home a welcoming experience during a difficult time, while going through lengthy home repairs. We found the self-contained apartment to be very clean and well outfitted for all of our needs. If we were in need of something, they were more than happy to accommodate. We greatly appreciated that the house was on an older established street in a safe and quiet neighbourhood and within walking distance to the downtown core. Lesley and Josh were perfect hosts and they both made us feel welcomed throughout the many weeks of our stay with them. We certainly would not hesitate to highly recommend them to family, friends and others. As well as being personable and professional, they were genuinely kind and understanding people. We booked this apartment for friends visiting from England and because it was close to our house. They had a wonderful experience. The welcome card and snacks on arrival were very much appreciated along with the items in the kitchen and laundry. Check in and check out were flexible which was very helpful due to canceled flights etc. We cannot recommend this apartment highly enough - a lovely apartment, lovely surroundings and very hospitable hosts. Host was amazing and responsive we had no issues with the place it was clean and tidy the backyard has a lot to do they have a hot tub and a sauna and a bbq! A fire pit for a bonfire, I would definitely recommend this place and I will book this again

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at this apartment near Algonquin Park. The location is ideal for exploring the park and enjoying the many outdoor adventures the area has to offer. The apartment was exactly as described—very clean, well-equipped, and perfectly suited for a small family (we were two adults and one child). Our host was extremely friendly and welcoming, and generously offered the use of her Algonquin Park pass, which saved us the extra cost of visiting the park. This thoughtful gesture made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and warm stay close to nature!

The place was exactly how it was advertised and perfect for me and my child. We attended the ski rodeo and the fireplace was perfect for drying out our wet ski gear! The view was beautiful and I imagine a summer trip here for avid hikers would be awesome! The hosts were also so easy to talk to, and very quick to respond!

We had a wonderful stay. Kristin, Chris and Charlie (doggy) were very hospitable and friendly. A great peaceful getaway. We felt right at home. We will be back!

Super clean with everything you could possibly need. Lovely area for walks or bike riding. We highly recommend this place. We will absolutely be back again!

Don and Wanda were great hosts! Super friendly! They went above and beyond as they gave local suggestions of restaurants and hiking spots. Great area to visit with lots to do within a 10-15 min drive. The place itself is very spacious, clean. Beautiful views. Definitely recommend checking out Vetta Spa and Copeland forest for hiking.

Our stay at Craig and Susan’s place was amazing! The cottage is beautiful and has everything you’d need. The kitchen was stocked, just bring your food and you’re set! The pool was warm and very enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking and peaceful. Craig and Susan were very welcoming. They were amazing, kind and helpful hosts! The delicious welcome cookies and snacks were a beautiful touch. We will definitely be back!

Warren’s place was absolutely amazing and were so appreciative with how flexible they were with us! We felt right at home. The bed and couch were both so comfortable and the Airbnb had everything we needed, including a lovely outdoor area! Highly recommend :)

We had the best time at this lovely place. Deborah and Ross are amazing hosts and incredibly kind people. Thank you for everything :) the place is also super clean and feels like home! If you are bothered by bugs, don’t miss out to visit the lovely little store ‘zebra with a different stripe’ to get some great all natural bug spray!

The space is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and has a warm, home-like atmosphere. It is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need from kitchen essentials like to toiletries. The location is also very convenient. The host was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If it were possible to give more than five stars, I would. It was truly a wonderful stay.
