Cottage vacation rentals in Huntsville

This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

Wait.. there is no option for 6 stars!?! Wow, where to begin!?! From check-in to check-out, our group had a fantastic time. Our host was super friendly and easy to connect with at all times. Our group had 8; 6 adults, a teen & a child. Everyone was entertained at all times from the karaoke machine, the games, the hot tub, the firepit, the kayaks & canoes, the swimming, and the stairway to haven, which was truly breathtaking taking!!! The town of Halliburton was a short 10 minutes away where we enjoyed some shopping, lunch & coffee. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary; 78 & 73 years young and they rocked that staircase several times! We frequent Air B N Bs often and this is by far my new favourite. There is already talk of a return visit in the future. Highland Bliss is gourgeous, loaded with all the amenities, is spotless, super comfortable and my family is so thankful to Marcia for allowing us to visit her beautiful space and create lasting memories!

A truly wonderful getaway at a gorgeous cottage surrounded by nature. Jason was a fantastic host, and provided a top notch experience. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the spatiousness both inside the out, and made great use of the firepit and canoes. We will definitely be booking this spot again,, and are grateful to Jason for his hospitality!

This place was beautiful and right on the water. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed it. We had enough kayaks to have fun in the water. The location was very private and peaceful.

Jennifer's place was a perfect gathering point for our birthday family reunion. The accommodation was spotless, bright and warm and even had a little pack and play set up for the baby to have a nap. The grounds were stunning as was the view. Our only regret is that the weather did not cooperate so water activity was limited to a polar dip followed by a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A beautiful retreat that our family thinks should be an annual event.

Chorong was a great host! Leading up to our stay she was extremely responsive as I had a lot of questions! The house itself was stunning. Clearly it is taken care of and maintained very well. All of the beds were so comfortable. Outdoor area was a lovely space. Would definitely like to come back in the winter as I am sure the scenery is beautiful.

Our group had a wonderful stay at the cottage! Cassidy was very communicative and the amenities were top notch - we enjoyed the lakefront view, kayak, sauna and hot tub. Fresh towels and laundry within the cottage made everything super convenient. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

It is a beautiful, secluded area on Pine Lake with the back facing west (Make sure that you enjoy watching the sunsets from the living room area or the hot tub!). There was plenty of equipment by the dock for us to use and enjoy on the water. The kids enjoyed paddling and swimming in the lake. If you are looking to work remotely, the internet connection was solid as my friend decided to work. If you are looking to switch off and go analog - it rained heavily one day there, but everyone was entertained with the all of the games and puzzles that were supplied at the cottage. Our Great Pyrenees dogs enjoyed roaming the site. We had an issue with the BBQ, but with some quick messaging with Jesse, he was able to get someone out to the cottage to fix the issue. It is a bit of trek to get into the cottage by vehicle, so I recommend that you enjoy the seclusion of the site - it is worth it! However, it is easy to get into town if you need to go there. We had a wonderful time here on a short excursion out of the city! the cottage itself is magical with a beautiful view of the lake and a gorgeous back patio shaded by trees. Bryan and Pam were very helpful and had made sure to provide everything we needed and more

We had an absolutely magical stay at this lakeside cottage! The attention to detail in the space was remarkable, with every corner thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it a joy to cook meals, and the wood-burning fireplace added the perfect cozy touch for our winter evenings. The views were breathtaking—each window felt like looking at a postcard, with stunning vistas of the lake and surrounding nature. Laura's hospitality truly stood out; she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay. The location is unbeatable. Being just a short drive to Algonquin Park allowed us to enjoy some fantastic hikes with our dog and we loved returning to the peaceful setting of the cottage afterward. This cottage is a gem, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway or a cozy work-from-home option.

Beautiful, clean cottage on a beautiful lake! Loved the sauna and the deck down by the dock. Was the perfect size for the 6 of us. Kitchen was great, beds were super comfortable. Would come back for sure.

My husband and I spent the whole weekend with our family at this cottage. It was everything we hoped for and more! Beautiful interior, serene beach with dock, and lots of activities. Only a 5 minute drive to Port Carling shopping centre and restaurant’s. I highly recommend to plan a family vacation at this cottage in Muskoka! 10/10

My Husband and I went with our Daughter, Son In Law and our four Grandchildren and we loved it, the private deck and diving platform was great the kids loved it and we really enjoyed the paddle boat, we have lots of good memories from our time away together. Frances Cadogan

Great little cottage. It was clean, the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We loved eating dinners on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake. Swimming and fishing off the dock was great and lots of interesting things to canoe or kayak to. Nearby waterfall you can hike to and swim at bottom of. Highly recommend!

“Perfect Lakeside Getaway!” I had an amazing stay at this cabin! The place was incredibly clean and well-maintained, and the views of the lake were absolutely stunning. Maurey, the host, was super responsive and really helpful throughout the whole process. If you’re looking for a peaceful, scenic escape, this spot is perfect. Highly recommend!

great hosts. beautiful cottage and location.

We had such a wonderful stay - it was so peaceful and quiet. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the greatest but the cottage is stocked with games and puzzles so time went by quite quickly. Rooms were clean and comfortable and Kayla was so responsive. The one thing that isn’t super clear in the listing is you get a choice between 2 queen beds or 1 queen bed and 2 singles. We were under the impression that all rooms are accessible but that isn’t the case. But that didn’t bother us in the slightest - would definitely come again!

This is probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The cottage is extremely clean and modern, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The view from the private dock is worth the trip all on its own. Dan and Richelle are super friendly and will respond right away if you need anything.

One of my best stays in the area. Great location, very quiet and peaceful. The cottage itself was perfect. It’s much better than the photos. Great taste in design and decoration. Fully equipped with lots of amenities and activities. Highly recommended!

Ashley is a gem and her place is truly a diamond. Her place was absolutely pristine (and I am super picky about the cleanliness of any place I stay in) - she had all the amenities and her whole place looks like it’s straight out of a magazine. Her cottage is in a beautiful and quiet area, giving us some real serenity from the city life. Although our stay was short it was truly perfect and we would love to come back especially during the fall when the leaves turn colour.

Absolutely beautiful location & home!! Quiet area and lake. The amenities were endless, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We had an unfortunate power outage in the area one of the nights we were there - but we made the most of it with a campfire and the hosts were very responsive letting us know where supplies were and keeping us updated with the updates from HydroOne. We would love to come back some day, this place makes you feel right at home!

Perfect cottage getaway. Leslie’s place had everything we wanted - gorgeous lake views, private dock with plenty of lounge space and water toys, nice fire pit area, all the kitchen utensils we need to cook brunch and dinner, and lots of space for our group to hang out. The location felt very private, and the lake was so peaceful. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a modern cottage escape. Some things to keep in mind: - lots of steps down to the dock so might not be suitable for folks with mobility issues - you have to take the garbage with you when you leave the cottage.
