Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hungary

This experience can only be experienced, not described. I recommend it to everyone. The description is perfect, and the other reviews speak for themselves. We were with two young children and I hope to go back as soon as possible.

We had a wonderful time with 2 small children, 10/10. Easy access. The house is very tastefully furnished, everything was there, everything is as in the photos. The garden is breathtakingly beautiful, it is actually a smaller forest, beautiful and well-kept, surrounded all around. The kids really enjoyed being able to interact with the animals on a regular basis. Petra is a great host, always quick and helpful. I'm sure we'll be back.

Nice and private little house in a quiet area in the beautiful northern Balaton landscape. Very good for hiking and a romantic time, recommended for couples.

We were Masodjara, a very good barbeque place further, a calm, unfenced, everything was fine!

This place was exactly what we needed as two teachers wanting to get out of the city. Peaceful, countryside home with a beautiful sauna and jacuzzi that we used multiple times a day. We loved exploring this part of Hungary (we went to Lake Hévíz) and genuinely enjoyed our stay here. We biked from the train station to the Airbnb, which was hard in the winter. A car might be necessary for others.

I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything I needed. The host was responsive and helpful throughout the stay, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Great location too. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to others!

Bianka and Bálint are fantastic hosts: I always got an answer from them before my question even arose :) Upon arrival, they wrote us a handwritten personal message, which made me feel particularly comfortable, and they even left us delicacies as a gift. And what I described was the extra that this house is simply a little jewelry box as it is, with a view, it is absolutely fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

We spent a long weekend at Viktor's house, a super clean, cozy, well-equipped house with an amazing garden, the perfect location for families and friends alike.

Sophie was very kind, at the time of booking she immediately provided me with all the references to find the accommodation, open the doors, get to the apartment, take the keys and enter but above all she was always available and kind for any request, responding quickly and precisely even during the stay. The accommodation is beautiful and in a formidable location, right in the center, well served by public transport, with numerous restaurants/bars and with the possibility of reaching most of the places of interest on foot with a maximum 15/25 minute walk. On the ground floor there is a paid service to store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Super recommended!

Wonderful apartment and a great host. Communication was very good and the welcome treats and list of local recommendations were very welcome. Groceries and restaurants were nearby. Ildi’s Place / The Barker Residence is a phenomenal place to stay for your holiday in Budapest! The home is spacious, exceptionally clean and ideally located near the Opera and St. Stephen’s Basilica. There are 3 separate bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The beds are comfortable. Also there are all necessary amenities - washer and dryer, hair dryers, fully stocked kitchen, AC and heating, plus many well thought out extras. Finally, Ildi is a wonderfully communicative hostess. She was very helpful in answering any questions, her instructions were all clear and she even provided recommendations and help regarding travel arrangements, restaurants and things to do. We cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough!

Amazing apartment in an amazing location. Within walking distance to all attractions. Apartment itself is beautiful and homely, absolutely spotless! Antonia is a wonderful, proactive host and we had such a great stay at her apartment! My partner and I would recommend the place to anyone visiting Budapest :-)

A great location, and a cozy apartment. Very clean and quiet. Super close to transit (bus and metro). A note: You have to provide your own basics- napkins, salt, oil, dishwasher soap, laundry soap. Toilet paper, soap, and shower supplies were provided.

We spent an extended weekend here and were more than satisfied all around. The villa is even more impressive in real life and exudes so much homeliness that you don't want to leave at all. The garden is uniquely beautiful. If you are looking for an oasis with lots of birdsong, nature and a place to stay with a little something, this is the place to be. Our highlight: enjoy the sunset on the roof of the wine cellar every evening! We will be back.

The view was the first thing that impressed us, followed by the beautiful nature surrounding the property. The house is very nicely designed, and the pool is amazing. We enjoyed BBQing every night. We highly recommend Bence and Moni's place, and we hope to return one day. Thank you for this breathtaking experience!

The accommodation was wonderful and exactly as described - the view over the Balaton, the vineyards, the small houses was beautiful, we enjoyed the peace and quiet very much, the garden invites you to relax and if you don't want to go far away, a walk directly from the house through the beautiful paths and then a stop at the Csarda, which is within walking distance, is enough. Not only was this tip worth its weight in gold, for us Balaton newcomers Anikó had a whole range of helpful tips, to many places and restaurants, she responded to all inquiries very quickly and absolutely committed. I would recommend this place at any time without hesitation and I very much hope it will be possible for us to come by again. Thank you so much for this great accommodation! 5 stars totally deserved!
