My friend and I absolutely loved this place! We can’t have imagined a better home away from home during our time on the beautiful island of Faial. From the very beginning, when we had to reschedule our stay due to a change with our flights, Paula was responsive, friendly, and helpful. We we arrived in Faial, Paula met us at the apartment, showed us how to get inside, and chatted about recommendations for how to spend our time over the next couple of days. We loved everything about her apartment; it was even cuter and more spacious than the pictures implied! We enjoyed cooking a fish dinner in the kitchen, spending time on the balcony viewing Pico, and checking out her books about the Azores. The apartment was a lovely location too! We slept well with super comfortable bedding and a good temperature in the apartment. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was great for a shower after a day of hiking! We would definitely recommend this home to others! Thank you, Paula!

My Azorean Home - Cottage

I was even luckier and ended up spending my stay at the Villa. Upon entering the house, we immediately felt that we were not in just any Airbnb. Spacious, bright, clean, well-equipped accommodation with a decor that makes us feel at home. Good internet for teleworking and lots of equipment for those with children. The views of the sea and Pico are spectacular. It is well located, close to a bakery, a grocery store, the airport (without the noise bothering you) and you can quickly reach the city of Horta and other points of interest on the island. As for Paula… Few guests on this platform must have her kindness and gentleness. She left food for breakfast, always cares about the well-being of the guests and even made a point of introducing herself with her faithful friend Spot 🐕 Perfect stay, I recommend it 100%. Thank you very much 🙏🏼

Absolutely charming apartment, very well located by the ferry port. The apartment is well-equipped with brand-new appliances. Communication was very smooth, which made our stay very easy and pleasant. I cannot recommend it enough if you're planning a stay in Madalena.

We spent several days on Pico. The house is easy to reach, but is in a quiet neighborhood. You have to drive a bit to the nearest supermarket or restaurant. The view from the living room through the huge panoramic window is fantastically beautiful and exactly as shown in the pictures. The house was in pristine condition, clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The loungers in the living room and the bed are extremely comfortable. On the porch in front of the house you can have a wonderful breakfast overlooking the sea. Parking right in front of the property is not a problem. A really impressively beautiful house!

I have to say this is one of the nicest air bnbs we have stayed in. It was beautifully decorated with care and love and lots of small touches that made it feel instantly homely. It's also one of the best stocked air bnbs we've been to, Beatriz left us lots of goodies and the apartment itself had everything you need and more. The view from the terrace is lovely, it's peaceful with a couple of good restaurants and swim spots near by. I would absolutely come back again and would recommend to anyone. Well done Beatriz for being an amazing host.

It was our 3rd stay at Agostinhas place, very good location 2 mins from the main Street, very quiet, beautiful garden, nicely decorated flat with lots of history of Faial. The host family is fantastic all around. We will be back next year!

We absolutely loved this private, cozy house! We enjoyed the location right by the ocean, the privacy and walking the trails and the village. The hosts have clearly given much thought to the inside layout and amenities. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds comfortable, the availability of a washer and dryer great for rainy weather! Zelda was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!! Thank you!

Great location just steps from the waterfront and the ferry terminal. Lovely apartment with a very comfortable bed, lots of tv stations. Jorge was very attentive and even provided a lunch snack for our arrival. We would highly recommend this property.

Very nice apartment at the center of Madalena with a view of the port. Everything present in the apartment including airco and demoisturing device which is great, the host is super friendly and responsive to requests, the place is very clean and towels are changed regularly! Ideal location for diving in Madelena or boat trips since it is very close by. We stayed with 3 and the place is small but so well organized that it worked well ! I can only recommend.

Andreia was a great host: she was always friendly and available for us. The apartment casas do Navalhao was amazing, with everything you need for a trip in the Pico island. Moreover Andreia was super flexible to keep our luggages before and after thr check-in/check-out. I would put 6 stars if possible! Highly recommended.

We had a very nice stay at the place. You could sit comfortably at the table, open the sliding windows wide, so you almost sat on the promenade overlooking Pico. Only small point of criticism for people with light sleep: the cars and motorcycles that drive across the cobblestone street in front of the house are very noisy, but not many.

A cozy living area features a gray sofa and a stylish black armchair, set against a warm, wooden wall. Natural light filters through a nearby doorway, illuminating a light-colored area rug that adds texture to the space.

We loved this place - super clean and great location as its walkable to a sand beach and into the town of Horta and 10 min drive to airport! Rosa and Alexandra were extremely helpful and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend staying here!

Paulo's place was lovely - very clean, spacious and with fantastic views of the ocean and Pico mountain. Walking distance from the centre of town and close to a bakery and a couple of restaurants.

Perfect accommodation in an idyllic location (facing the sea). Its location allowed us to travel all over Faial Island. Finally, Joao was very attentive, he is very professional and very friendly.
