Very clean, quiet property in a great location. Many and Beth were friendly and proactive. I would suggest changing the blinds in the bedrooms as they let in lots of light in the morning, so recommend bringing an eye mask. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely gorgeous place in a great small town. Easy to find, everything you could need supplied, and more! Thoughtful treats left for us and the dog. Very dog friendly. We had a very comfortable stay and if around that way, would definitely stay again.

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. We arrived late so only stayed in the property a few hours. The accommodation was good and nice to have a fresh loaf of bread!

A lovely cottage, perfect for visiting RSPB Bempton Cliffs and walking the coast path. The cottage was very clean and spacious, we were very comfortable. Gill was very responsive and helpful. We had a lovely few days there. It is worth using the train to visit Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. A brilliant service which made exploring and walking options easy.

Apartment was gorgeous. 3 big bedrooms with tvs. Huge living area with gorgeous kitchen that had everything. 2 modern bathrooms. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Parking at back of property big enough for 2 cars. Also an electric charge point if needed. Little court yard area to sit out in when weather nice. Nice park over the road and apartment next to a COOP grocery store. Chinese take away on same road. 15 min walk into York which is easy to walk. Loads of car parks if you prefer to drive. York is well worth a visit. Loads to do and see. Tons of restaurants including a few good traditional Indian/nepalese which didn’t disappoint. We came with our kids age 21 and 15 and two of their friends. Would definitely stay again maybe before Xmas as York is one of the best Xmas markets we’ve been to in the past. Host was responsive and everything about the apartment was perfect. The key lock box made it easy to check in. Would highly recommend we had a great time thank you 🤩

Lovely clean apartment ,had a lovely stay , loads of room for a family of 5, balcony was lovely to sit and enjoy my morning coffee & an evening drink , Peter was very welcoming and very friendly host will be returning 😁

Just had a wonderful stay at this property, which is located just a couple of minutes walk from all the shops, restaurants and bars. The check-in details were on point and we easily found and accessed the property with no issues. Once inside the photos were a true representation of the flat. The location as above was second to none, although next to a fairly busy road (masked by bushes), the glazing did a great job and we could not hear anything, it was also nice to look out over the town walls. We only had 1 issue regarding cleaning and that was the cooker hood, which did not look like it had been cleaned for months, leading to a strong cooking smell all over the flat. So ended up cleaning it myself and contacting Pass the Keys who dropped off additional dishwasher tablets (even though on instructions it stated not to use the dishwasher). All in all a great property, easily walkable to all the main attractions, with parking right outside the door.

Our stay in York was just what we wanted. The flat had everything we needed and provided a perfect location for visiting York with it being a short walk from the minster and town centre. The entire time Melanie was attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to provide detailed instructions for accessing the flat. Highly recommend this property and the host for a weekend away to explore the city!

Found the place quite easily, the place was spotlessly clean and a lovely little hideaway, cant fault the rooms, bathroom was lovely, couldn’t initially get onto the drive as the FIL parked over, once on the drive difficult if you are in a big vehicle to reverse out with cars parked opposite behind, so parked back on the road, unfortunately there was a concrete post at an angle hidden in the grass, i opened my door onto it denting it quite badly, shame we wasn’t made aware of this, i removed the yellow post Two real gripes, the heating situation only having two hours at a time is not good, it was cold nights when we visited, so when we went out for the night we came back to a very cold room, for the money paid, heating should be controlled by the guest or at least 4/5 hours on time Struggled to get a phone signal as in a valley, so resorted to Wi-Fi which was awful, it was that slow i could not update my iPhone, so be aware of this if you want contact with the outside world

Garden Apartment was an oasis in the middle of old Scarborough town Everything exceeded expectations and we made good use of the private garden which was amazing Both were good hosts and very friendly

A really nice place. Quiet location, which was exactly what we wanted. Very comfortable inside with a garden area that our dog liked a lot. We only stayed one night but would have liked to have stayed longer

Stayed overnight whilst in Scarborough for a concert at SCOAT. Five minutes stroll, perfect. Beautiful basement flat. Clean and cosy. Keith was a perfect host and I would recommend his Airbnb 100% Thank you for having us 🌞

That saying “The Pictures don’t do it justice” is exactly true for Diane’s apartment - the pictures looked beautiful but the reality is even better. Very clean and everything you need. Great location and such a beautiful town with friendly people - we got the train into York one day, the station was less than a 10 min walk (station cafe is AMAZING) - all in all a great stay and hope we can come back again soon - thanks Diane! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shambles Secret. Jenny proved to be a first class host, who went above and beyond to make her guests happy; we cannot thank her enough. The flat was exactly as depicted in the pictures, lovely and cosy and a real home from home. We slept really well, and although the flat is right in the centre of York, it was remarkably quiet. We enjoyed our time in the flat as much as we did sightseeing in fabulous York. Shambles Secret really is right where you want to be, EVERYTHING was within walking distance. John and Lindsay were perfect hosts, friendly and approachable. The annex was as described and more as the facilities offered exceeded expectations. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus. Great location to walk from on Cinder track or Cleveland Way. Good public transport links and good pubs in the village and nearby.

Sharon was an ideal host. She was very communicative and sweet. The flat was clean and comfortable and she even put out a bowl with dog food and provided milk when we arrived. It’s easy to see how much thought she has put into to the flat and how much care is put into to maintaining it. We travel to Hull frequently to visit family and this is by far the best air bnb stay we’ve had there. We look forward to booking the flat again soon!
