A fantastic house just by the fjord, very well kept with excellent views. However you will need a car to get to the house as it is out of the city centre but it is really worth the drive to the house to chill out for a few days. The house is very clean and has a well equipped kitchen and a large veranda that overlooks the fjord. Amazing place & I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Forde. Thank you Eli for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Had a great time adventuring in the area and getting to know Haldor and his family. The location is pristine. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a busy Norwegian household and it was cool to be immersed in it for a couple days.

I had a very nice stay in Volda at Øyvind's, the whole family is very kind and I enjoyed the cohabitation. The buda is very cute and the view of Volda is breathtaking, plus many hiking trails are within walking distance of the house. It is very easy to get to the city center from the accommodation, the return is more sporty but relatively fast. The garden is very nice and I was even able to observe northern lights there! The only negative, which is mentioned in the listing, is the lack of running water in the buda, which means that we have to go back and forth between the house and the buda to do the dishes, the shower or go to the toilet, but if you only stay a few days it is not really a problem! If you're looking for an authentic and friendly experience this place is for you! I had a wonderful time in Volda and thank the hosts again for their kindness, hospitality and kindness:)

This was our second stay with Jon Robert & Anna. It is a beautiful place across a small road from the lake with mountain views - including views of waterfalls & the glacier. The apartment is decorated with personal touches, making you feel like you are at home. There are MANY things to do just a drive away. Ålesund is only an hour away. We also drove to Runde (the famous bird island) from here. Jon Robert has a printed guide book with exact routes on driving tours of the area. He is so helpful and friendly. The apartment is very clean, and in very good condition.

Nice and cozy apartment, very clean, good bed and nice little kitchen. Super nice hosts who helped with recommendations for hikes. Cozy surroundings and very close to hike to Molladalen.

The place is just perfect - everything matches the photos. The cottage is large, comfortable and well equipped with great location and wonderful views of the mountains. Contact with the hosts was always friendly and helpful. The hot tub is still the icing on the cake - we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice stay in a great cabin. Clear routines for use and easy communication. We had a very nice long weekend here with good skiing opportunities.

Jan is an easy talking host, gave us so many advice for traveling around. The cottage is nice and warm, furnished in a very modern style, every thing is high standard. Recommend for someone who visit the ski resort. Thanks

Wonderful Easter days in sunny Stryn😊 Many nice hiking opportunities in the area, well equipped kitchen so we could cook good food and relax in the jacuzzi on starry evenings🤩 Very nice and well equipped cabin. We could sit outside and enjoy late breakfasts on the terrace below the cabin and new evening sun on the up side😄 We would love to come back🫶🏻

Fantastic cabin with stunning views, in a very quiet and cozy area. Plenty of space for parking, great layout in the rooms, a very nice and spacious dining area, and nice bedrooms. Worth mentioning: The handles on the fridge and dishwasher are a bit like a climbing session – one nail was lost during our two days here. 😆 We also couldn't find a hair dryer, and in this price range it would have been nice to have a proper coffee machine. All in all – a great cabin with a lovely view. Thank you so much!
