HAKU is a Japanese Style Villa. You can enjoy your private time as in your home. “HAKU“ is one of the readings of the character “百” which means “hundred”. Medieval Haiku poet, Basho Matsuo likened eternal passage of time to "百代の過客", a permanent traveller. In his time, a hundred years was expressed as eternal. HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.

It's located right in-between of Kanazawa and Oku-Noto and it's about an hour by car from both, making it convenient for sightseeing. When you step into the bathroom your whole body is enveloped in the scent of the wood. The sea is also very close.
