Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Honshu

We had a fantastic stay at June’s apartment in Tokyo! The place was exactly as shown in the pictures—very clean, modern, and well-maintained. It’s in a super convenient location, just a short walk from the train station and right next to a convenience store, which made everything so easy. The apartment was perfect for our family of five, including three big kids (ages 12–16). It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. June went above and beyond—she even came in person to welcome us, explain everything clearly, and made sure we were well taken care of. We really appreciated the thoughtful free gifts too! Although coin parking nearby is a bit pricey, that’s quite normal in Tokyo, and the convenience of the location more than made up for it. We highly recommend June’s place and would definitely stay here again!

A gem! We loved our stay at Shoji’s place - the perfect location just a few minutes walk to the Peace Park, trams and restaurants and there’s even a Lawsons a few steps away. The apartment is in a quiet area and was spacious and squeaky clean with everything we needed (washing machine was so handy) with views over Hiroshima and mountains. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve had during our stay in Japan - we slept so well. Shoji is a kind and responsive host. A joy to stay here!

Amazing place, and the host is very communicative. The place had a decent size and a lot of amenities. A big bonus is the washing machine - even the washing up liquid was provided. I would stay again! 😊

The stay for five days and four nights was very pleasant, the host was very warm and handsome, took us to the location of the homestay after getting off the tram, and on the way to introduce us to the delicious takoyaki shop nearby.In terms of location, the homestay is right next to Shitennoji and Shin Imamiya, and only one street away from Tsutenkaku, making it very convenient to get around.The room is fully equipped and clean, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe (downstairs is the police station, safety and security), the only small regret is that the toilet is small.All in all, it was a very pleasant stay, and I look forward to meeting the host next time!

I have no complain, i got eveything i need here. In fact, i'm so thankful you let us check in 2 hours early without early warning. It's my fault, i lost track of time, i realised it was 1pm when i got here. But you were so nice to let us in right after you done with the room cleaning.

As a Family of three, we spent a very enjoyable and comfortable time at Yuko and Ken's apartment. The apartment matched the description and the quiet location away from the inner city was greatly appreciated. Yuko and Ken left very clear and precise instructions for their spotlessly clean apartment which were easy to follow. The house rules were also very sensible and easy to follow and the numerous facilities were easy to use. We would not hesitate to stay again if we visited Tokyo again, and cannot recommend Yuko and Ken's place highly enough. Thank you Yuko and Ken !

We stayed in this beautiful house as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and had a wonderful time. The house itself is beautifully renovated to provide modern facilities yet retains the character of the traditional Japanese shop house. We really appreciated the washing machine/dryer as we had packed lightly and most especially, we loved the location. The house is walking distance to most attractions in Gion and there are convenience stores, restaurants and supermarkets close by. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely incredible stay! The 8 of us felt right at home, and everything was comfortable and spacious. Would come back and stay here again as a large group.

Really lovely house in a convenient location, easy to book, close to Tsuruhashi station (good links to everywhere you’d want to go on various lines, including the JR Loop Line). Beautiful bath and ornamental garden, comfortable beds, useful washing machine, peaceful and pleasant neighbourhood. Great stay!

Hakuba Resort Homes was located in a peaceful beautiful location that was walkable distance from the bus stops, convince stores and the best restaurants in Ecoland Hakuba. The house it self felt homely and luxurious filled with board games, Netflix and an amazing view to wake up to. 100% recommend

Wonderful hosts! I cannot say that enough. We were picked up and dropped off at the station coming from Narita. The house is just as you see in the photos and everything is well taken care of. Whenever we had concerns or questions, there we had a response. For a big trip internationally, the recommendations were well received and the hosts helped us with travel and figuring out where to get on the train and how to get around. Facilities inside were great. Air conditioning with fans. Washer was available to use. Just a notice for potential lookers. I guess you could say we were in the 'suburbs' of Tokyo. Travel is a little longer than usual by train but we adapted well and planned around that. There are stairs up to the main floor. A little narrow, so if you are okay with that, then this is a great place to stay. Just make sure you follow house rules and you will have a great time. I have no real negatives to say.

We loved our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable for our family. The location was great. Close to shops and restaurants and a short walk to the local and JR train stations. The area wasn’t very touristy so we felt like locals! Express train ride from Yamashina station into Kyoto was easy.

We stayed at Toshi's place two years in a row and couldn't be happier. The location is amazing being close to the beach, many cute shops and cafe, the train station and main street of Hase. The place is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully managed with all the amenities you need and more. Toshi is a great host and always responsive, and provided very clear instructions. We felt very welcome and highly recommend staying here!

This is such a perfect and cool place in Kyoto for a family of four. Great location for sightseeing and shopping. The windows have amazing views of the city and make for great people watching. The beds and futons are comfy. The 2 bathrooms are so convenient. The dryer dries well which is rare in Japan. The host responds quickly. We also enjoyed the Starbucks right downstairs and the hip rooftop bar above. Things to consider: It’s one big open space so you won’t get much privacy. And there’s only one large sink by the kitchen for both bathroom and kitchen use, which may be a bit awkward. But those were no problems for us. We LOVED our stay and would definitely stay again if we return to Kyoto.

A cozy place in a quiet neighbourhood. There are two subway stations nearby so commuting was a breeze. The apartment was exactly as described. The washroom was clean and efficient and having two toilet seats really helped, though fitting into the smaller toilet needed some gymnastics. Though portrayed as two bedrooms, it’s impossible to fit the second bed in the kitchen cum dining area. If there are three of you then everyone has to sleep in the same room. There were small niggles like bedside lamp not working and a bedside table drawer coming off. Easily checked sorted before guests arrive. The balcony definitely needs scrubbing. Overall a nice, pleasant and peaceful stay. Mathew is doing a great job. This place is highly recommended.

Quite spacious and sunny. All basic amenities were provided. Location was good and accessible from Nakano station. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

This was a very nice place for me and my husband and two adult children. Our kids stayed in the room with two floor beds and my husband and I stayed in the room with one bed for a couple (queen sized and perfectly comfortable for us). The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and gorgeous. The only thing about this lovely home is that it is a bit of a hike from the metro and we did spend quite a lot of time commuting. That said, after the bustle of a day spent in Tokyo, it became a relief to commute home to this lovely, quiet neighborhood! We really enjoyed our stay there, thank you Ryusuke!
