Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Hol Municipality

We felt very comfortable in the beautiful and cozy house! The kitchen was great! I'm sure we will be happy to come back!

We had a nice stay at the small, cozy hut. Close to many Hills with a nice View from the bed. The kitchen hast everything you would need and there ist enough space for up to 4 people.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

Here are some of our experiences of the place when we were here: Our kids were very happy when we arrived at the house. They really enjoyed themselves here throughout their stay, both inside and outside. There was a large trampoline on the front of the house, and a cozy wooden cabin in the back. It is less than 5 minutes and walk to Hallingdal Feriepark from the house. It takes just over 1 hour and drive to Langedrag from the house, and about 25 minutes to Tropicana Badeland on Gol. There are several different hiking opportunities in the area. There were good solutions in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. There is both dishwasher and washer and tumble dryer here. The house and location are great for families with children. It was good cleanliness here. The host was available if we had any questions. We've already recommended this home to your family and friends.

The host is really nice and helpful. When we needed help, he was there immediately. The house is very marked by the fact that it is a “real” home, where there are actually local residents out of the season. It gives a very homely touch, which we found cozy. For example, cabinets and drawers were filled with private items; toys, mobile chargers, ski glasses, and all sorts of trinkets. However, for example, the kitchen was a little fun equipped: 6 pots, but no lids. Huge Walk in fridge, but no toaster, electric kettle or microwave. And so still. Well, yes; and then on day 6, we found out that there was another family living in the basement. 😂 If you want an IKEA equipped clinical rental, this is not the place for you. But if you want an authentic home with OUTSTANDING views and a great host, then this is the place for you, Thank you so much Alexander for a great stay!

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

Great place to be with big family with pets, quiet and beautiful place that you just want to come back to. Located nice, private by the water, ski slopes and short distance to all amenities. Above expectations beautiful, decorated for Christmas. Amazingly cozy and real Christmas vibe. Nice and good communication with the landlord. Thanks a lot :-).

The place is well located. It's spacious. It has a well equipped kitchen. The hosts provided useful information about the surrounding area.

Great place in a great town.

The cabin was very convenient and cosy, with beautiful traditional elements that make it a very authentic and special place to stay! In the evening we loved to sit in front of the fireplace, in the two nice relax chairs. We were with two adults and a dog. We can imagine the cabin can be a bit tight for 4 adults; with (smaller) children it will be OK. And for adults the extra (included) cabin, with extra beds and a bathroom, can be used. The cabin is situated directly at a skislope, very close to a skilift. Loipes are nearby. We were a bit unfortunate with the snow conditions but can imagine that the area is wonderful for crosscountry skiing (besides skiing). One minor thing to be aware of is that in winter you cannot park the car directly next to the cabin and you have to walk a bit up for about 70 (?) metres to the cabin, partly over the slope. It can be a bit slippery and if you bring lots of stuff, like we did, its a bit of a workout. But it is definitely worth it! 😉

We had a great time with six (2 adults, 4 children) in Lieve's cabin. The cabin is perfectly equipped and very lovingly decorated. From the house you have an insanely beautiful view of the lake and the mountains and can hike right away. On the website of Geilo you will find tips for activities and hiking routes. A tip from us for rainy days: the cultural church in Geilo. In addition to art exhibitions and a cafe (at very fair prices), it offers a play corner for young children and a play area for larger ones with billiards, table tennis, foosball, chess game and shufflet table. Clean , tidy and well equipped. The bathroom is an unusual shape but works well and has warm underfloor heating.

Great cabin perfect for a large group - we enjoyed the outdoor sauna, cooked a lot in the kitchen which was well equipped. Perfect location for hiking / skiing. Highly recommend.

Quick response and flexible with changed arrival. The cabin was close to the slopes and it was possible to park our car in the garage.

Torstein's cabin was great, really fun with ping pong table. Spacious, welcoming and nicely decorated. All you can wish for. Responded quickly when I asked questions and sent ongoing and good info before and during the stay. Great top!

We had an amazing week in the apartment, which is very cozy, clean and with beautiful views. Easy communication with Elin. We'd love to come again.

The place was warm, cozy and comfortable.

We are a family of 10 who stayed at this cabin and it was extremely comfortable. The layout of the house was nice with plenty of room for gathering in the kitchen and living room (the recliner is so comfortable, I'm going to buy myself one just like it!) as well as comfortable bedrooms. Cooking in the kitchen was no problem as it was well stocked with everything we needed (pots/pans etc). Location was perfect for being in the countryside, but it was close enough to grocery stores, train station, and the city center of Geilo that there was no problem traveling there and back multiple times (a day trip on the train to Flam is doable and beautiful, I highly recommend it). It was so close to the Ruperandan and easy to access. This is a highlight of the property! Ski in/out from your front door in the winter time! Terje was an excellent host and always communicated thoroughly and in a speedy manner.

Fantastic great and modern cabin located incredibly centrally located. The hosts always respond very quickly and you feel like they are really concerned with a good user experience. 5 stars was given on all ratings, and me and my traveling party have nothing to put off on their stay. We are delighted.

We had an incredible stay at this charming cabin in Hemsedal. The cabin was beautifully maintained, spotless, and had all the comforts of home. The bedrooms were lovely and cozy, and they looked exactly like the photos and descriptions. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living area was cozy and warm, perfect to relax with the family. The cabin’s location is ideal, so close to biking and hiking trails! We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches from the hosts, including clear instructions, quick and friendly communication, and local recommendations that made our trip even better. Very cosy cabin with a great view of mountains in the dostant, which included all we needed for a few days of skiing with the family.

Well-equipped and incredibly pretty cabin, central with brilliant views morning and evening. Ida was very nice and responded quickly. The cabin was clean, the interior very nice with lots of nice details. Quality over both cabin, atmosphere, location and hosting.
