The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

With a lot of love, we have now completed our shepherd's wagon at the end of July 2022 for up to two people. All hiking destinations are easily accessible from our farm. We are happy to give you interesting excursion tips around the hiking region of Saxon Switzerland.
