Our half-timbered house, built around 1550, is located on the longest adjoining half-timbered house street in Lower Saxony and due to its central location in the city center, all sights are easily accessible on foot in a few minutes. The coziness of the half-timbered house is immediately noticeable. It is very family-friendly and our capable property management is always available. It has three levels, with the bedrooms on the upper floors only accessible via narrow stairs.

From the spacious property, a breathtaking panoramic view over the water and the surrounding forests of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park opens up. Here you really live directly on the lake – not just "near the lake".

There are many places on the shared courtyard (4 other parties live permanently on the courtyard) to unwind, read or have a meal. The cottage is bright and looks spacious for a half-timbered house. The local gastronomy also has plenty of things to offer. Especially with children, a visit to the Sababurg Zoo is an absolute highlight. (Dogs are allowed there) Or maybe historical? The Trendelburg, the Sababurg or the local museum offer a lot of information. Also worth seeing is Hofgeismar, about 10 km away...

Centrally located in the beautiful Edertal in the Kellerwald National Park. Only 5 minutes' drive from Lake Edersee and 10 minutes from Waldeck Castle, which offers a beautiful view over Lake Edersee as well as the national park. Here you can relax in peace, lie in the garden or take advantage of the many possibilities of the third largest reservoir in Germany. Stand-up paddle and bicycle can be rented on site at an extra cost and deposit.
