Vacation rentals with lake access in Hilo

We had such a wonderful time with Chad and Jennifer. The property was so much more than we even thought. The property is so beautiful and well maintained. Truly unique property with unparalleled beauty. Chad and Jennifer are such gracious, informative hosts. We will definitely look to stay again. Highly recommend. This is a special experience and stay, far beyond what can be described. The pictures, although beautiful, don’t come anywhere near to describing it.

The apartment is just perfect for a couple. I was floored to see the interior decor and layout, and the balcony was a beautiful place to eat breakfast or just to drink coffee and read. Big screen TV and free streaming service, Roku, Netflix, Paramount, Apple TV, Disney+, to name a few, Wifi is excellent should you just want to stay indoors. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay whether you wish to cook or just relax & chill. Parking area is not lit during the night so it's dark but you're safe, and the property has resident geese and chickens. The nightly rate is absolutely reasonable, about a $100 less than the two major hotels on Banyan Drive, plus you get so much more extra room amenities that hotels don't give yet charge you that extra $50 resort fee for things you should get by default. Complementary Keurig cups (coco and coffee) hands down this place is definitely value added. I will certainly look at staying at this place in Hilo town again, 5 ⭐

5 Stars! Jenny was an absolute lifesaver and such a kind host! She accommodated us last minute without hesitation and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Her place at Hilo Lagoon was spotless, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests. Perfect condo air bnb for our 2 night stay in Hilo! Wish it were longer. One of the most well equipped rentals I’ve had. Roku TV, pool, fridge, oven, microwave, coffee pot, and clean fluffy towels. Nice studio on the ground floor. Jungle feel to surrounding grounds. Close to all the prime Hilo spots. Easy in and out. Clearly Vivian aims to please! Thanks for a great stay!

Great host and great place to stay. If you’re looking to be right in the Hawaiian rainforest with a waterfall in your backyard this is the place! It so peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful! Axel had a lot of extras (beach chairs, beach towels) which came in handy for a day spent at the ocean. I would be lucky to stay here again!

Exactly what was expected. Beautiful scenery and with a wonderful river/pool right nearby, plus an amazing waterfall a little ways down the river. Other than that, it is a simple cabin. Very small, not much furniture and its very easy to bust your shins on the sides of the bed. Dont expect luxury and be prepared to walk in the woods, its a bit of rough terrain but nothing terrible by any means. Overall, we would happily stay here again.

Great place to stay with family

Very cool cabin surround with greenery with everything you need. A bit damp but the air temp is not high so there is no issue sleeping.

What a great find! Maggie's place was perfect for our little family vacay. we have a 7 month old and it accommodated us all great! the portable AC unit worked better than we expected and we were all comfortable! Maggie was super responsive and kind to any needs we had. We were able to make breakfast, lunch and dinner I. the kitchenette as it came equipped with multiple means for preparing food. The bed was really comfortable and our stay felt like home. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place!
