We had a terrific stay at Alexandra's place. The location was great - near outstanding restaurants, the Botanical Garden, and the subway. In addition to touring around, we were participating in a conference at the university. We were well situated for both getting to our sessions and venturing in Glasgow and beyond. The apartment was comfortable, quiet, and well-equipped for our purposes. We appreciated the flexibility in dropping our bags before check-in and the very prompt communications from Alex when we had questions. We would absolutely stay there again.

It's a really nice apartment in a fantastic location if you want to be in the cultural heart of Glasgow. Easy access to the subway and other transport, easily walkable to some of the main cultural venues in the city, and easy access to many restaurants. The photos are accurate and give a genuine sense of the apartment. The apartment is on the edge of the University campus but is remarkably quiet. The second bedroom was OK but it was not a proper bed but a futon. One of the legs collapsed on the first morning when we sat on the edge of the bed. Easily fixed, but the bed was very low to the ground. Our only really gripe was that the host only communicated via messages and links to information that took several clicks to get to. This was annoying for things like key code access (which was also only sent on the morning of the first day of the stay which was also a bit annoying) and other vital bits of information. Some really important information could have been highlighted better.

Our first ever Airbnb, this apartment has set the bar impossibly high. Such a beautiful, peaceful, high-ceilinged space, luxurious without being at all bling-y, full of interesting artworks and artefacts with every element, from mirrored lamps to linen apron, carefully chosen and perfectly placed. We were so comfortable, sleeping well and feeling throughly spoiled – Natasha's casual mention of 'a few groceries' really didn't cover the wealth of edible goodies she'd left for us. The location is perfect, among the elegant Georgian houses atop Kelvingrove Park, so pleasing greenery on our way to wherever we wanted to go. Staying here added immeasurably to the pleasure of our first visit to Glasgow – so stylish and surprising, city and apartment both.
