Welcome to this stylish little jewel of tranquility, centrally located flat in the west end of Glasgow. Our attic flat has a maximum capacity for 2 adults, but is also perfect for a small family e.g 2 adults & an infant. The blonde sandstone, category A listed townhouse building is around 150 years old. There are about 74 steps up to the flat door (which includes a quirky 21 step spiral stair at the end) and there isn’t a lift. The 180 year old Botanic Gardens are about 100yds away.

Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at the Lodge. Our host Jaqcui was so friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. We found the place to be immaculately clean but also cosy and homely feel. Hot tub was spotless with a great view! Would love to return at some point!

We loved our stay at Lesley's place. Lesley made us feel so welcome. The space was immaculate and very cosy. Breakfast each morning was very generous with fruit, yoghurt, toast etc. Lesley was more than happy to share her vast knowledge of the area and advice on places to visit. I can't recommend Lesley's place enough, it's been our favourite place to stay so far.

We had a lovely overnight stay in this cosy and warm flat just north of Glasgow. It was the perfect little stopover for me, my boyfriend, and our cocker spaniel. The location is beautiful and peaceful — we even spotted deer in the morning, which was such a lovely surprise! Although it felt nicely tucked away, it’s still very convenient and not far from the main road. A great little place to relax and recharge — would definitely recommend!

I have returned to Sandra's place on a number of occasions and it is always a joy to stay with her and Sandy. They are always friendly, helpful and the accommodation is very comfortable. Breakfast at William cafe is an absolute treat. I would always highly recommend and will no doubt return again during my visits to Glasgow.

This was a fantastic stay, Bruce was very responsive and friendly and the Wee Den was immaculately clean! It’s also in a great peaceful location, close to enough to get to the attractions but also in located in scenic and tranquil surroundings! I would not hesitate to book this stay again!

Essie’s place was perfect for our trip to Glasgow. She gave the check in details on the day without having us having to reach out first and her instructions were perfectly clear. The house itself was extremely clean and it was easy to find anything we needed. All of the facilities within the house were in perfect working order and we didn’t need to reach out to Essie for anything else. Would absolutely look to stay here again on our next trip to Glasgow - 5*.

Fran's place was very thoughtfully laid out and quaint in nature. They were very attentive and responsive where anything was required. The hot tub was lovely and ready for us upon arrival, the bathroom was spotless and the sofa, as well as bed we're both very comfortable. Generally I would say Fran's place is a great stay and well worth a look-in if you're in the area!

Zoe's lovely home is perfectly located on a picturesque, quiet leafy street, yet just a short walk from streets filled with an abundance of great places to eat and charming local shops. Zoe’s place is also within walking distance of some of Glasgow’s most beautiful sights, such as the Cathedral, the iconic Necropolis, Kelvingrove Art Gallery, and West Brewery. If you’re not keen on walking, there are also bus stops close by that take you directly into the city center (a quick 5-10 minute ride). The house itself is exquisitely decorated, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and our private room was meticulously clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged for a relaxing stay. Zoe herself is the perfect host—warm, generous, and effortless to chat with. We shared many delightful conversations and laughs during our visit, and she offered many a great recommendation for our time exploring. The whole experience felt less like a stay and more like a home away from home. A true gem!

Balfron is not a big place, but if you are after a trip to the Scottish countryside it is a good spot and the place is ideally located. You can walk to all the amenities in the small village and, key for us, you could walk to the location of the event we were attending. All in all, just what we needed. It is obviously not equipped if you want to cook and have meals in your place, so this is the only thing that needs to be taken into account, otherwise great spot!
