Vacation rentals with a fire pit in High Rock Lake

Good location in proximity to the zoo. House was clean and easy to find. We had a lovely stay!

Delightful cozy home at the end of an inlet of the lake. We loved using the kayaks to paddle to the main body of High Rock Lake. The house was so clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and walking around the neighborhood. We did have a couple of questions and Moopoint answered almost immediately. We were there just two nights and stayed put with plenty to do.

The best rental house I’ve ever booked. There was nothing missing. I appreciated that they provided basic cooking supplies like oil, salt, pepper, etc and they provided hand soap, dish washing liquid, etc. that many other rentals do not provide. The extra towels for the lake and hot tub were a huge help. If I had to pick one negative to point out to renters, it would be that if you have kids under 3 you will have to watch them very closely with the open stairs. But the rest of house, grounds, furniture, etc are all kid friendly. The house and grounds are beautiful, just as described. The host is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and quiet location! Carson sent us a detailed brochure prior to check in that answered so many questions. The house was cozy, clean, and supplied with everything we needed. It was a very smooth process from checkin to checkout. Hope to visit again in warmer weather!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tuck’d Away. Perfect stay for the family for a local wedding. Well equipped kitchen and boat house, and comfy accommodations made for a relaxing weekend!

This bnb restored our faith in using an air bnb. After a particularly terrible experience at a prior host home, we felt overjoyed at how perfectly comfortable we were in Cheri’s home. The hosts thought of everything from the little things (q tips and cotton balls) to the special things (welcome gift) to the expected things (clean, well stocked with plenty of linens, pillows and towels) all the way to the kitchen necessities which were abundant. This bnb is very clean and also so quit you can hear what your spouse is thinking! We look forward to staying at this location again as we travel to the area multiple times a year. Our bnb search in Salisbury has ended.

Creekside Escape was perfect. Stephanie and George were extremely hospitable, welcoming & warm. They communicated the entire time, even before I secured the booking. The home was spotless & felt like home. George & Stephanie welcomed us at arrival with snacks in the kitchen. The hot chocolate bar was wonderful. The kids & adults all loved the yard space, fruits for the picking & the creekside living. The kids room was so appreciated with some toys for our little to play with. The cherry on top was the kids/baby wash & shampoo in the guest bathroom, after realizing we had left it at home. Parents, #iykyk. We ventured to the NC Zoo & into Asheboro and ate some great food. Check out Black Powder Smokehouse for ultra delicious food 🤤 I’ve worked in hospitality & vacation rentals on the coast of NC for 20+ years. Their hospitality has rejuvenated me and reminded me of what I do and why I do it. Before we left, my husband and I were already looking at dates to come back.

Jane was wonderful to communicate with. Our stay was amazing, and she was very accommodating to our needs or requests even prior to booking. She had everything you need, plenty of sleep space, and CLEAN! If you need a nice peaceful weekend getaway, dont hesitate to book!

Our stay was very nice! The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated. The stay was in the perfect location to get to and from where we needed. Communication was excellent!

This is a lovely little cottage with plenty of space to spread out, everything you need in the kitchen, and an overall awesome vibe and decorating.

We were on the hunt for a quiet, serene spot with a lakefront view to celebrate Valentine's Day, and this place was perfect for us! 😊 Even though the weather wasn't the best, we still had an amazing time and were super happy with everything it offered. John is an awesome host and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. We'd absolutely love to return in the summertime and fully enjoy the lake! 🌞🏖️

The place was perfect! Close to many restaurants & stores & massage envy! All walking distance! The pool was beautiful & place looks better in person ad opposed to the pics!

Our family of six (including kids ages 7-17) had an amazing spring break stay at Tom and Janice's. The farm was our home base for a couple of college tours, and it could not have been more peaceful. We loved watching the river rush by from the deck, wandering aroud the beautiful walking paths, kayaking on the pond, and enjoying the cabin. The cabin itself was impossibly clean and stocked with everything we needed, and Tom and Janice were incredibly responsive. We enjoyed eggs and beef from their farm, and Tom was kind enough to take us on a tour and teach us about regenerative farming. We also loved ziplining at nearby Richland Creek Canopy Tours and eating at The Table in Asheboro. I highly recommend this special place.

We stayed at Diane's place for a long stay. It felt like home for us! Very cozy, great location! Quiet and beautiful, right on the lake. It had anything we could need to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Anything we needed help with, Diane was able to assist right away! Would definitely recommend!

I had an issue at check in and Carolyn was delightful and extremely responsive in helping me get it resolved. We accidentally left some important items and she also helped us get them shipped back to us. On top of how beautiful the lake and the property is, it was a wonderful stay!

This place is a bit of a juxtaposition because it’s a quaint, classic, cabin but in the downtown. It’s peaceful but near everything. Yes the fire dept and traffic can be a bit noisy, the stars are a spiral doozy but still a 5 star stay if you need a get away in a well decorated and arranged cabin. It’s the best of both worlds. Read the description and reviews it’s exactly as put so come prepared for the small things like the stairs. Use the noise machine at night and enjoy this 5 star cabin. Matthew did a great job. Furniture and bed are comfortable, everything was ready. Check in was easy. Awesome place!

It was a very pleasant stay. Peaceful and quiet set up. We had issues using our pin to get in but they were very responsive and the problem was rectified within 5 mins. Beautiful surroundings and lots to do within a few miles of the cabin.

My girl friends and I enjoyed our night getaway at Robert’s & Claudia’s beautiful cabin. True to the pictures, great location and it was very peaceful. We enjoyed the fire pit the most & the BEDS? Very comfortable, a great nights sleep. Will come back any time to visit
