House vacation rentals in High Rock Lake

We stayed here for a youth state shooting tournament . The boys wanted to fish more than go to the tournament! It’s a safe community with a pond in the back and close access to the lake! We enjoyed it!

Very nice house. Spotless clean and everything is clearly labeled. Having an office room with a printer and computer chair is very helpful for remote work. Kids love the air hockey and basketball games in the garage. Clean community pool a few minutes walk. Supermarket a few minutes drive and many restaurants nearby.

We had a great stay! Katherine was responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The place was a great location and our kids enjoyed the lake!

We enjoyed our stay at this campground! The location is absolutely beautiful, and everything was clean and well-maintained. It’s such a peaceful spot, and we loved being so close to the NC Zoo – a perfect place to visit! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to get away in nature but still be near a fun, family-friendly attraction. Will definitely stay here again!

I think the place was beautiful and very peaceful surroundings. Great place to just relax. The children in our party had a blast. However the adults were not as ecstatic. The peacocks were very loud in the mornings, one room was extremely hot that no guest wanted to stay in it, one room was had no window curtains so it was very bright very early. A lot of the kids beds were too squeaky so kids mainly slept on the couch or floor. The master bathroom is awkwardly made and allows for little privacy. We also paid extra for the pool to be heated but it was still pretty chilly even though the temperate had rose a little. The pool table was placed to close to the wall so we weren’t able to play it correctly without hitting the wall. Other than these down falls, the house was very beautiful. We enjoyed fishing from the pier, bon for nights, swimming and the hot tub. The hot tub was probably the biggest hit for all of us. We never used the sauna. For the price, I wouldn’t stay here again.

This is our third time staying in Chris’ place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! My kids loved being able to walk to the pool and the house is spacious enough for our big family. We look forward to returning again later this year. We enjoyed the back deck and barbecuing as well! Chris and Dottie have a beautiful house and really make sure their guests feel at home and keep things simple.

This place was perfect for our crew of 8. Everyone had plenty of room and the space they needed. The location could not be beaten with the water being right across a private road with your own dock access. We spent many hours out there and in the private pool in the backyard. The host also let us check in early since we were ahead of schedule. Five star stay

We enjoyed Jennifer’s beautiful home for a short visit with our son. The home was clean and a pleasant place to spend our time. Beds were comfortable and linens were cozy. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

We have stayed at several AirBNBs around the world, and we have to say this was the best one. We did not want to leave. Cheri thought of everything and even left a delightful gift for our enjoyment. We had everything we needed for our home away from home. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here at this beautiful home. Everything was exactly as shown and would totally recommend this place to other family’s that enjoy sitting by the lake and enjoying the amazing views. The host was an amazing person that was very responsive and understanding to my questions. I would surely be back to visit again!

We loved our brief stay at the Mini Star Cabin. It was absolutely beautiful, well appointed, and the country side was lovely and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive to questions and quite helpful. I would recommend this place as a quiet couples retreat. Unfortunately we had to bring our two kids, lol. They slept fine in the living room but the shades didn’t make it very dark in the living room so the gremlins stayed up late and got up early. Would definitely love to come back and enjoy without the munckins!

If you are looking for a good place to fish this is one of the best spots so far we came here for my boyfriend Bday and this was the most fish he ever caught we enjoyed it. Grilled food and did roasted marshmallows. The host was very responsive Amber & Her husband. I Didn't have no issue with them as long as you communicate with them and follow the rules everything is good about them. They answered every question If you dont like the bugs then this not the place for you and if you are not good with walking the stairs just know there are steep stairs to the doc but if you love to fish then this is definitely the place to come you will have some on and off moments with the fish but if you patient enough you will have so many fish you can have a fish fry . Caught crapees & catfish. If you want to fish at night there are a few lights provided but I would recommend to bring extra just incase and place them where you going to stand at we fished till 10-11 on some nights We will be Back!

We were in the area from out of state for a funeral. Made the booking while enroute and it was easily done. Our first Air BNB experience and David and his team made it a pleasant one. They are on sitevand so they were able to respond quickly both in text and appearance offering assistance for anything we may need. I appreciate them making the stay easy and one less thing we would have to stress over in a already stressful time. We had four adults and found this to be a much more affordable and pleasant option than a local hotel. Thank you, David and pass along to your team as well our appreciate.

I absolutely adored my short time at Daniel’s little slice of heaven. Description was 100% accurate and I instantly felt stress of the day melting away. Daniel was so helpful and incredibly kind. I was traveling and found this precious gem to spend a couple of restful nights there. I do not think I have slept that well in months. I loved it and I couldn’t believe how much room it had if I by chance happened to have my daughters with me. I would stay there again in a second if back in the area. It was just perfect and Daniel is a top notch host and human. We all should work harder with being so kind to one another. Wonderful little spot. Could not recommend more.

Kathy’s place was in such a peaceful location. Great views from the back porch. Kathy was great with accommodating us for an extra day. The steps to the 2nd floor are very narrow. But for younger people, they are ok. The main floor bedroom was perfect for my elderly folks. The place was very comfortable. We spent most of the time out and about. But the times we were at the Airbnb, we hung out outside. The amount of shade outside was perfect. Very comfortable home.

This home EXCEEDED our expectations!! The location is secluded but close to everything! Every turn in the house there is something new and cool to look at! A crowd favorite was the “party bathroom.” We would 100% stay here again!

It truly did feel like Grandma's place, so sweet and comfy and LOVED the nostalgia.

We loved our stay! The home was just as described and it was on a quiet street. We came down for the Coca Cola 600 and everything we wanted to do was within 30 minutes! There were 5 of us staying and we all had plenty of space to relax and be comfortable. We would love to stay again if we come back next year!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while attending our annual regional Convention at the Assembly Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Salisbury. This is one of the most immaculate and comfortable AirBnB's I have ever stayed in, and we've been to many. The host thought of literally everything, and even left a hand written welcome note for us! We're happy to see a young couple like Chris and Grace build their business up with a good sense of value and integrity as a foundation. We'll be back again next year!

Unique building built in the 1900’s but fully updated inside with all the amenities you need. Since it’s older it has its quirks but is comfortable and a great location for historic Salisbury and a couple museums around the area. It’s nice to have a fenced in yard for the pups and also use of the garage which came in handy the morning of checkout since it was raining we were able to keep ourselves dry while loading the car. It’s on a sort of busy street during the day so you do hear some car noise but not a big deal if you’re used to the city. At night didn’t seem bad at all and was able to sleep like a baby on the huge king bed. Thanks again for everything

My family and I had an awesome time at their lovely lake house. The galley kitchen was cute, great for buffet style eating. The house was bright and airy, the sunsets were amazing. There’s plenty of yard in the front and back for yard games. There’s boat access right around the corner, walking distance. Would definitely recommend their vacation home.

The views of High Rock were beautiful! It was so peaceful to walk the pier and take in the scenery. The space was very clean and the owners were very responsive to questions we had. Our kids loved kayaking and jumping of the pier but the highlight was catching a catfish from the pier! 10/10 recommend!
