Guesthouse vacation rentals in High Peak District

Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

We cannot fault our stay here, it did exactly what we wanted. Peace and quiet in an amazing location and the animals sealed the deal. Arnie was amazing and took time to explain about all the animals and nothing was too much trouble. We definitely will be coming back when the animals are roaming. I miss the cats already!!

Had a lovely stay, hosts were helpful and responsive when I needed anything! Clean bathroom, clean bed, cosy space and the projector was a lovely touch!!

We had the best time staying at the vestry. Emma and Ian communicated well before and during our stay. We can be a little nervous travelling with our 5 year old son due to his food allergies however Emma ensured nothing was left that could have caused a potential reaction. The vestry is full of character and the perfect little escape that offered everything we could need. We enjoyed exploring Poynton and found lots of beautiful walks around the area. Lyme park was a favourite of our sons. We also enjoyed trips into Manchester and found the vestry the perfect spot to rest after a busy day. We would have loved to visit in autumn or winter to make use of the log fire but there is always next time 😊

we loved our stay! perfect for what we needed. close to the canal for a stroll about to streach our legs after a long drive. we had the best nights sleep. will defo be back again!

We all had a lovely stay with Pete and Sue. The annexe was spacious and perfect for a group of 4! It was extremely homely and comfortable, you can’t fault it! We were very well welcomed by Milo who was a real character😅! They had great recommendations for the area which was stunning! It was easy to locate and had no trouble at all! Hugely appreciated their hospitality and was definitely worth the visit. We hope to come back to the area soon!😁

A lovely, well-maintained, spacious property with everything you could need when away from your own home. Thoughtful touches everywhere, from a basket of goodies, to a selection of DVDs and a cupboard full of board games. A perfectly cosy home away from home. Thank you!

Sharon accommodated us very last minute & made us feel very welcome throughout our 5 day stay. The accommodation is quite small, but the location is really lovely, on the edge of the Peak District. Lots of walks and lovely pubs nearby.

This holiday home is very well presented, and a great deal of thought has been put in to the guests requirements and ensuring their stay is a comfortable one .. this is evident by it's pristine condition on arrival and the 'little touches' throughout. The location and views are exceptional if you want to switch off from the world and just relax for a day or so. The hot tub is fantastic and really helps you to chill out whilst you're there. Fiona's communication is excellent and any queries sent across to her are replied to promptly ... she has a holiday home to be very proud of ! ... highly recommended 👍🏻😉

Lovely little place - well designed to maximise the space of what is essentially a little studio apartment. Five minute walk into the little town. Handful of little shops, pubs and cafes - most dog friendly. Ten minute walk back (relatively steep hill!). Peter friendly and welcoming. Would stay again.

Great place to stay with my paw pals for a night on route to my destination. Very tranquil, and being part of a chapel makes it extra special. The bathtub is by far the best I’ve experienced and as a former Superhost, I’m quite fussy! It was so relaxing, the couple were lovely, and you honestly couldn’t ask for more. The bed was super comfy, it was easy to find everything I needed, and it was great to have a fridge with milk, cold water, and even space for a bottle of wine and my cheese board. Even without a kitchen or TV, I didn’t miss a thing it was that peaceful and well thought out. Loads of tourist spots just a short drive away, and it was absolutely perfect for the dogs too. I left feeling completely recharged. Highly recommend! A beautiful area. Thankyou for having us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! The place was really clean, well thought out with everything you need for your stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to have an enjoyable break exploring with their four legged friends!! 🐾

Stunning property that was tucked away and felt very private. Close to lots of walking routes and an easy drive to lots of nice restaurants. Elaine provided very detailed instructions on how to arrive which were very helpful and there was lots of information in the accomodation about local amenities. We loved our visit, Elaine was an excellent host and we would highly recommend this property

We stayed for 3 nights with our one year old. A lovely place. So peaceful and cosy. Wishing waking distance of Bradgate. WiFi was fast and lots of useful info provided. We loved the cookies!

Once again had a lovely stay in Tracey’s garden annex As always everything first class ! Tracey is a very approachable lady and responsive and friendly. Lovely stay in Darley Bridge courtesy of Claire, great location to discover the Peak District, fab local walks and pubs. Visited the Three Stags for excellent food, well worth a visit. Other visits to Bakewell, Chatsworth and the Monsall Trail. A lovely stay, very relaxing.

I booked this accommodation for a newlywed couple, and they absolutely loved it! From the start, Louise was an incredible host—her communication was excellent throughout the whole process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. What really stood out was the thoughtful surprise she left for the couple—it completely made their day and added such a personal, memorable touch to their stay. The place itself is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxed vibe that's just perfect for a city break. Would 100% recommend staying here. Perfect location; private, spacious, bright, and comfortable. Well equipt and well maintained. 2 min walk to Poynton’s shops, restaurants, taverns, bus stop. We stayed here for a month while visiting our daughter and son-in-law. Hope to make this our home away from home. Thank you Julia!

Donna’s place was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful, scenic location. Donna is an excellent host and was incredibly helpful! On arrival at the cottage there’s nothing she hasn’t got covered and is only a message away if there’s anything you need! We will definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time! Had a lovely few days at Stephen's place. The space is as described with lovely views towards the Peak district. Easy access to Bramhall, Wlimslow, Poynton and motorways. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.

Mick is a great host and the house is lovely. And the garden on a sunny day was a real treat. Mick was very accommodating and have my kids a small trampoline to play on. Highly recommend staying here.

Marsha is so so lovely, she and her daughter go above and beyond for their guests, beautiful people, even Molly the dog is gorgeous. Great space, very clean and tidy, great communication and just lovely place to be! Will be rebooking every year! Thank you Marsha and Amber ❤️

The cottage was very comfortable. It was located on a quiet lane, not far from a village with a lovely pub. At the end of the lane was another pub with excellent food. Roger met us on arrival and made us very welcome. If we should return to the area, we will definitely stay here again.

We have just returned from a wonderful couple of days away at Jenny’s place, I booked very last min and Jenny couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming, the welcome pack she emailed out told us everything we needed to know, she left us some presseco in the fridge as it was my husbands 40th the day we arrived which was so kind. The place itself is fantastic, we had all the room we needed and came and went at our leisure, the area itself is outstanding! My husband is an amputee and we tackled some of the local hills (black rock) unfortunately on the day we were due to leave my husband was in a bit of pain after all the walking, I messaged Jenny and asked for a slightly later checkout so he could take his time which she was happy to help us with and it was so much appreciated. Thank you so much Jenny, we would love to come back sometime, for our first air B&B experience I’m so glad we found you! I couldn’t recommend enough xx
