Monthly Rentals in High Hawsker

We had a lovely stay in this cosy little place and the location was great. Ideal for hopping on the bus (bus stop round the corner) to go to Whitby, Scarborough or Robin Hood’s Bay, or joining the Cinder Track for a lovely walk. Lisa had clearly put a lot of thought into the little details; the welcome hamper, toiletries, and well-equipped kitchen were all much appreciated. The space was beautifully decorated and full of character. Personally, we found it a little cluttered for our taste, just because the cottage is quite compact and there were lots of cushions, blankets, and ornaments that made it feel even smaller. That said, everything was clean, comfortable, and very well cared for. While we probably wouldn’t stay again purely because it was a bit too small for us, it’s a charming and well-looked-after place that many people will love.

Joanne was great at communicating about check in! Lots of info inside accommodation about things to do walks etc. Apartment was so clean, in fact one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in! Decor lovely with a very homely feel. Had everything we needed to be comfortable. Cannot fault the Hideaway and would definitely return.

This break was just what the Doctor ordered! I totally agree with previous reviews! Great location for walks, Coastal Path and Cinder Track close by. Nice friendly Pub a stones throw away from the Cottage that serve beautiful food at very reasonable prices. The Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable break! It was clean and warm with a nice box of biscuits with tea/coffee and milk to greet you on arrival! Many thanks, to you and your Daughter Emma!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was only for one night. We wish it could have been a bit longer. We enjoyed the extra goodies and snacks etc. that were waiting for us on arrival. The view out of the lounge and bedroom windows is fantastic. The house has everything you could want on your stay. We spent our day in Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. Both lovely places and well worth the visit. We would definitely return again and thoroughly recommend staying here.
