My daughter and I had a wonderful weekend and our accommodations couldn’t be better. Perfect location to get to/from the horse show and cabin was quiet and cozy.

First, Doug and Marcia are lovely folks - warm and helpful. The views of their farm, the animals, and the mountains from the porch are terrific. The rooms are very clean and they make it extra nice with snacks and brochures with information about the area. We will be back!

My family and I enjoyed this quiet mountain get away!! Definitely the best choice for the kids first time up in the mountains!! Will for sure return again!!

This little cabin was in a gorgeous location! Right next to the snow tubing and not far from grandfather mountain! The views from the hot tub were amazing! Brought our two dogs and they loved it! The patio with the hot tub was fenced in so the dogs were able to hang with us while we were relaxing in the hot tub! Definitely would recommend and plan to come back!

This was the perfect getaway for me and my fiancé when we got there, the hot tub was not working and the grill was broken from the storm previously and Jen had someone come out within a couple hours and got both of those fixed. She was very accommodating in the home is beautiful would absolutely stay there again.

Perfect Mountain Escape! The Foxie Moxie was exactly what we needed for a relaxing trip to the mountains. It was perfect for our family of three and our Aussiedoodle. My husband and son had a blast with the basketball hoop, while I enjoyed some peaceful time in the hot tub and hammock. We were aware of potential road issues due to Helene, and while the road to and from Black Mountain is definitely not for the faint of heart, it was passable—just be aware there are a couple of one-lane sections. The neighbors were wonderful and even tipped us off to a hidden gem: a 10-foot waterfall about a mile up the creek from the property. It was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a secluded mountain stream retreat with all the right touches of relaxation and adventure!

Very nice stay. Everything was as advertised or better. Right by main street and the town square. Stay was clean and everything was maintained well. Glad I stayed here.

Great location and perfect for three couples to have a weekend in WNC! We enjoyed the hot tub, the fireplace and fire pit, and being able to walk to downtown Black Mountain. Rooms were comfortable and kitchen was well-appointed. A few things could have been cleaner but overall it worked well for us!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain house in Rutherfordton! The views were stunning, the rooms were cozy and well-designed, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day. Lovely home in the Village of Cheshire! Jake is a wonderful host and the house is even better than the pictures. Beautiful neighborhood with walking trails and playground for kids. Enjoyed being able to bring our dog along and the convenience of the fenced backyard. Hope to return one day :)

We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth’s charming home! Tucked away on a quiet street, it was the perfect spot for our quick trip to see a show at Bojangles’ Coliseum/Ovens Auditorium—just a 10-minute walk, which meant no stress over driving or parking. The house itself is cozy and full of character, with lots of thoughtful, unique touches. Everything was super clean, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need (even though we didn’t cook much on this short visit). We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the beautiful backyard and sitting area, but it definitely added to the home’s inviting vibe. Elizabeth was also very responsive and kind when we reached out. Highly recommend this spot, and we’d absolutely stay again the next time we’re in town!

This house was exactly what we needed! Everything was exactly as described. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed almost immediately by the hosts. I would definitely stay here again!

place was as described and how it looked in pictures, house clean and nice with everything you might need for your stay. Brent was quick to respond to any inquire. We took our pups and they enjoyed the fenced backyard. Backyard needs a bit of work, but we are just coming out of the cold season, so I believe it will look nice once it gets warmer and they work out the space. We would definitely be back.

Jayne was a great host. Her house was very lovely and clean. Great location with lots of trees and very centric yet private from all the noise. Also located beside a park for children and greenbelt to walk and jog for miles.

Olesya’s space is beautiful and exactly like the picture but better . The bed is super comfortable and also —well you gotta see it . The place is decorated with gorgeous and distinct accents . The neighborhood is walkable and close to the train line . Don’t hesitate , book now !

Kristi and Amber are incredible hosts. Not only are they highly communicative, but they do so in a manner that makes you feel as if you are talking to an old friend: comfortable, casual, and caring. The property is located in a cozy, safe neighborhood and so close to the restaurants and new living areas in SouthEnd. We also just loved the mini-oasis located in the fenced in back yard area. We are so fortunate to have been able to even find this gem and for Kristi and Amber’s generous hospitality.

Highly recommend! It was private, peaceful, and the bed was SO great! The pool was beautiful, we did not get to enjoy it due to the weather — which we are so sad about! Next time :) We brought our babies with us and Jim made sure to have a gate at the top of the stairs and brought up a high chair and booster seat for them! We will be back!

10/10 recommend staying here. Suzanne was incredibly accommodating. Her place is beautiful, private and peaceful. We also tried her restaurant which was some of the best food I’ve ever had!!! Suzanne was super helpful, kind and constantly went above and beyond for us during our stay. If you’re thinking about booking with her, just do it! You won’t regret it.

Went to Charlotte for a bachelorette trip and the house made the whole trip! It was spacious and the outside seating upstairs was perfect for game nights and hibachi! Our host was extremely easy to get In contact with when I had questions! We would absolutely book this place again!!!

We were only there one night but it was just what we needed. Quiet and clean and very comfortable. Robbi was extremely nice and accommodating. She even had such nice touches for our dog from a bone to a bowls already set up with water. We will stay again when in town.

I had a wonderful stay at this mountain house. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape that allowed me to truly unwind. The house itself was cozy and well-equipped, offering all the comforts needed for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed the rustic decor, which added a warm and authentic feel to the space. Being close to hiking trails and nature spots was a bonus, as it allowed for easy exploration and outdoor activities. Overall, a fantastic place to disconnect and enjoy the peace of the mountains.
