Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Catawba County

We had an amazing stay in Hickory at Ryan ‘s place. It was convenient to downtown and also to the location of my conference at the Hickory convention center. Ryan was a top notch host communicating effectively and even leaving a guidebook to enjoy the best hotspot in the area. The fur babies enjoyed the yard and it makes it convenient if you’re traveling with a pet. The house was decorated very nicely and stocked with any items you could possibly need. We would stay here again- and we had a blast in Hickory.

The house is super cute. It was a short drive to downtown and has a park right next to it. It was the perfect place to stay while I was in town for an extended stay. Robyn was very helpful and flexible with my reimbursement requirements.

The house was great and its a beautiful lot and view. Kayaks were great.

This place was a fantastic stay. It's hard to find a place to rent that is pet friendly and not torn to bits. Kristen's home was not perfect (neither is my own) but it was exactly what we needed for our Thanksgiving stay with two dogs. My family and I were more than grateful to he able to spend the holiday weekend here.

My family and I had a super sweet one night stay ! Everything was clean and tidy and very inviting. I’d be more than happy to come back for another stay ! The home is JUST as the pictures describe, and Angela was INCREDIBLY kind and accommodating ! I thank you SO much for your hospitality !

Ashley is an awesome host! She is very receptive and communication is a A+ This is a perfect location between Asheville and Charlotte. Hickory has a lot to offer. I would stay at Ashley's agai in the future!

We loved our stay at the Bear Den! Nathan and Ali were great hosts. The house was perfect for our family. The inside of the house is very spacious and beautiful! The backyard was definitely our favorite part, so much room for the kids to run around and the fire pit was such a perk! We can’t wait to come back!!!

Zane was helpful throughout the process, during the stay, and also after we checked out. Place was amazing, had a lot of space for big families. We were in town for a funeral and our whole family had enough space (9 adults 1 child) the place was clean, plenty of bedrooms. If we ever come back in town, this is where we’ll stay. Unfortunately due to the season we were not able to use the pool but I’m sure it would have been a great experience if we came during early summer/late summer. Thank you again Zane!

The space is really big and spaced out not to cluttered with things and very very clean neighborhood is quit but fun good for family’s if you ask me good wifi and lots of things close by probably will be booking this exact place again soon

We love our stay here, its a beautiful place!!

We were visiting colleges in the area over spring break and this home was everything we could have hoped for. Beautiful serene surrounds and the home itself was really lovely, well maintained, had everything you needed and also had the extra touches. Was sad to leave and would definitely stay here again without hesitation. In a nutshell, it was perfect.

We’re local, but I worked almost 70 hours, and I wanted a quick get away. Jamie was very fast with responses, any time I reached out. She was a wonderful host. This is a very peaceful, quiet, little get away. Internet is fast! Amazing water pressure, firm, but soft bed, AC is nice, and the pool/hot tub was amazing!! 🤩 There’s a gym, and you’re surrounded by nature. We even seen some white tail doe while we were in the hot tub. I highly recommend this beautiful, peaceful little escape. We had no issues with anything, and all questions were answered rapidly. This rental is absolutely wonderful! The unique and creative decor, the fantastic pool/waterfall and the separate apartment made for a really fun time for our family. The welcoming gift of wine was nice surprise, the towels were fluffy and bed linens were crisp and clean. I highly recommend booking this property!

My friends and I rented John’s place for a long weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday. The home far exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully appointed both inside and out. John was very accommodating both with an early check-in and a later checkout. Since we had late flights outs on Sunday, we were especially appreciative of this! John quickly responded to our inquiries prior to check-in as well as requests during our stay. This was everyones first trip to Lake Norman and after the weekend we’re certain it will not be our last. Thanks John for sharing your beautiful home!

Our stay was impacted by Hurricane Helene -- which is of course beyond anyone's control. Despite no power or water or internet for part of our stay, we really did have a wonderful time! Michael was very helpful in making sure that we had an adequate water supply. The property is beautiful and offers many, many things to do! Our large 3-generation family was very comfortable there and had plenty of space to spread out. The backyard is especially nice with a wide variety of outdoor seating areas and outdoor entertainment. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 3 nights. There were 6 of us total- 2 separate families with 3 kids ages 7-15 and there was plenty of space and so much to do! We made many meals in the kitchen which was well stocked and big- very accommodating. The big draw for this property though is the back yard. Such a great big, level lakefront yard with so many wonderful amenities. We fished, swam, played volleyball, cornhole, paddle boarded, kayaked, canoed, laid on the aqua mat. The kids played ping pong in the game room too. And we had a nightly fire in the lakeside fire pit. We saw tons of wildlife and just enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake and being outdoors. This location is great as well as it’s close to many restaurants and a grocery store.

Such a nice home with responsive host. The place is exactly as listed and was such a nice getaway. My family and I loved it. Would stay here again if the chance arises!

Christy's property was exactly what we needed for a girls trip to celebrate our friends 40th birthday. Every detail was thoughtful down to snacks for when we first got there to amenities in the bathroom in case we forgot things at home. The property itself was gorgeous and had so many places to hand out and relax. Christy was great to provide clear instructions to help us navigate the property as well. Could definitely see many more trips here in the future!

Absolutely the best location available on this part of Lake Norman! Fantastic panoramic view of the water from the amazing front porch, which wraps around half of this beautiful home. Couldn’t have asked for a better lake house and location! Spotless home with perfect interior spaces that everyone enjoyed. Would absolutely come back again for an extended period… three nights is not enough in this amazing space! Communication with host could not have been better.

Perfect! It was clean, very comfortable bed, full fabulous kitchen, fantastic bathroom! Micheal did the extra mile with snacks, drinks, coffee, fruit, cleaning supplies, even extras for the bathroom-q-tips, razors, soap, shampoo! I really enjoyed my stay, it’s a little out of town but was perfect for me. I mean who doesn’t enjoy a perfect yard and golf course with their morning coffee?! I’m sure I’ve left something out but I would definitely book again!

Best airbnb I’ve stayed in . Very nice home close to the lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Amanda was a great host the entire trip and we hope to stay again in the future. Highly recommend for anyone staying in the area!

Mo and I had THE BEST TIME at the Boho Hideaway. (We call is the Moho Hideaway.) The notes, amenities, communication…everything was perfect. You can’t find a better host or cabin in Newton, NC! Lots of outdoor spaces to utilize, books, fireplace, cozy blankets, bath tub and so much more. Can’t wait to visit again. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
