An ideal haven for family, friends, corporate retreats, social events, church groups, and nature lovers alike. Wine tours are available. The owner was the Western District Naturalist for 14 years. He can give free nature hikes if requested. He has been a nature tour guide in 17 countries, including leading 15 African safaris. Ask him about nature tours for you.

We offer three primary bedrooms with full ensuites. One king bed and 2 queens. There is also a bunk loft and queen sleeper sofa. There are 2 family rooms with flat screen tv's. Plenty of room to spread out. We have a fully stocked kitchen with indoor & outdoor dining. Huge rocking chair porch. Optional rental of our 2021 tri-toon boat.

Fully renovated, quiet lakefront home surrounded by nature. Included: 3 paddleboards, 3 kayaks, life vests, fishing poles, floating lounges & beach towels. 36" Blackstone griddle. Main bedroom has king bed, private bath & desk. Basement has shuffleboard table, 2nd fridge and laundry. Guests have full and private use of entire home and dock during their stay. Comfortable parking for 6 vehicles. If the House is unavailable, consider our other homes Kingfisher Cabin and Green Heron Cottage.

Camp Coffinger Cottage

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located cottage. Peace and quiet prevail yet your close to LRU and downtown. Less than 1/2 mile to major shopping and some of Hickory's finest restaurants. Tennis and basketball courts abut the home and during non-freezing months your own hot tub in the expansive back yard. Update 9/23/2023. Hot tub has been removed due to renter issues with care of it while using. Well mannered pets accepted. Sleeps 6 comfortably.

Little Blue Hickory Home

This comfy, cute, and stylish family home is located near Lenoir Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. Under a 10 minute drive to quaint downtown Hickory with plenty of shopping and historical districts nearby. Stay in and cook a warm meal while relaxing indoors or step out outside and have a seat on the bench under the covered front porch. Listen to the birds singing while flying about in the nearby tree. We personally live close to the property and will be available if you need us.
