With double glazing, central heating and a gas fire, it is warm as toast all year round. When the weather is fine, you can make use of the large, south-facing garden. Situated in a quiet street just a 10-15 minute walk from Hexham town centre, it’s handy for all the amenities this historic market town has to offer.

Your accommodation has a private entrance on the ground floor into the sitting room, which has a sofa, dining table and chairs. Situated in a secluded location, within easy level walking distance of Hexham market town centre, School Cottage is a unique building; a great base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. The cottage has two ensuite bedrooms and sleeps 4 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. The lounge has an electric wood burning effect stove with satellite TV. Off street parking for two cars is included along with a private south facing courtyard.

Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. In the mornings you can look forward to a delicious breakfast in the formal dining room. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use.
