The Wandelschuur

The Wandelschuur is on the edge of the forest, within walking distance to the Waddenzee and Lauwersmeer. Decorated with taste and color, moreover, there are no houses and buildings to see when you look out through the high glass facade with French doors. The Wandelschuur is a wooden cottage on a residential yard. You will sleep in the romantic loft in a spacious double bed. A nice base for mudflat walking, a day in Schiermonnikoog, hiking, cycling around Lauwersmeer, eating fish, etc. :)

It has all the comforts with a private enclosed garden and patio, 5 minutes from the swimming beach. The park has a restaurant, snack bar, bike rental and lots of playgrounds for children, indoors and outdoors. From the campsite you are immediately in the beautiful nature reserve Lauwersmeer for walks and bike rides.

Our simple accommodation with a magnificent view is located near Delfzijl, in the beautiful village of Uitwierde! A bed, sofa, toilet, shower and a small kitchen where you can prepare a simple meal is all you need. The cottage is ideal for those who love peace and simplicity. Groningen is easily accessible by train or car (approx. 32 km), as well as historic Appingedam with its hanging kitchens (approx. 6 km), the Eems and dike within walking distance.

Relax in our neat, family-friendly house at the edge of the Lauwersmeer. This piece of land belongs to the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. From here you can easily travel to one of the Wadden Islands or try the mudflat walking. At the Lauwersmeer you can venture to the water sports or just enjoy the sun and the water. `t Mouternistjen is located in bungalow park de Monnik. Near the village. There is a large garden at the house. The house has recently been modernized. It is insulated, underfloor heating has come, a new kitchen, the bathroom and toilet have been addressed and there is a new floor in it. The house can accommodate 2-6 people. Two bedrooms have a double bed. In the third bedroom, there is a bunk bed.
