Since April 2022, we have been offering this characteristic home in Warffum. Take a step back and enjoy the still undiscovered vast Groninger Hogeland. The house is located directly next to the Medieval church on the largest mound in the Netherlands. Many beautiful authentic villages in the area, the endless polders and the bird (spot) rich salt marshes of the Wadden Sea can be admired within cycling distance. A visit to the city of Groningen and the islands of Schiermonnikoog and Borkum is also worth it!

The Wandelschuur

The Wandelschuur is on the edge of the forest, within walking distance to the Waddenzee and Lauwersmeer. Decorated with taste and color, moreover, there are no houses and buildings to see when you look out through the high glass facade with French doors. The Wandelschuur is a wooden cottage on a residential yard. You will sleep in the romantic loft in a spacious double bed. A nice base for mudflat walking, a day in Schiermonnikoog, hiking, cycling around Lauwersmeer, eating fish, etc. :)

House consists of: living room, 1 sleeping room on the ground floor (2 beds) - 2 sleeping rooms on the first floor, new kitchen - dishwasher, dryer, washing machine , bathroom (bath - shower). Touristtax is E1,50 per night per adult in addition to the Airbnb booking. Pets only after agreement.

We would like to share this special house in a fairytale garden with others. The house is tastefully decorated in art deco and is equipped with all the comforts. Also, in addition to the sauna, the house has a large covered terrace and a garden of 700 m². In the forest, summer cooling is the 15-meter-long pond and the view of the Waddenzee dike. From July to September, fruit can be picked in the garden. We offer a unique location with a lot of privacy to unwind.

LUXE loft

Unfortunately, our apartments are temporarily closed until spring/summer 2026 for a major renovation. They will be modernized, even more luxurious, wheelchair-friendly where possible and as energy-neutral as possible, with improved insulation, sustainable heating systems and modern facilities for lower energy consumption. Stay tuned for our reopening! We are looking for guests who want to stay at a discounted rate to fine-tune the final details.

Cozy room with bathroom.

This nice room is built in a barn has its own shower and toilet. Ten minutes drive to the Wadden Sea. So no beach but dikes with sheep on it. The six-person home is located at Robbenoort vacation park in Lauwersoog. Bordering Groningen and Friesland. You have the opportunity to wind down by the Wadden Sea or cool off in the Lauwersmeer. You can also enjoy the magnificent nature.

Vacation home Lilla Edet on Schiermonnikoog

Lilla Edet is coming home to an oasis of peace. The pheasants and rabbits hop through the spacious front and backyard. In the back, you can sit covered dining until late at night or move to the lounge, and in front of the house you can enjoy the sun all day long. The fireplace provides warmth and coziness on the colder days. Centrally located for a day at the beach or walking to the village.

The Waddenland has a lot to offer, and you are in fifteen minutes by boat to Schiermonnikoog. The city of Groningen itself can also be reached within half an hour.

This old house has just been renovated. For 2 people or family with 2 small children a perfect location to explore the Hogeland of North Groningen and the Wadden Coast. The city of Groningen is within half an hour by train or car. The house is heated with wood-burning stove and electric radiator.

New owner of this beautiful location. Always wanted to spend the night in a church, or better yet, a real church organ? Then come to the Groninger Hoogeland. In our beautiful church "De Kleine Antonius", you actually sleep on the old church organ, where a beautiful double bed has been made.
