Our 2-person Canadian canoe and our 3 bicycles are available for rent at a reasonable price.

Since April 2022, we have been offering this characteristic home in Warffum. Take a step back and enjoy the still undiscovered vast Groninger Hogeland. The house is located directly next to the Medieval church on the largest mound in the Netherlands. Many beautiful authentic villages in the area, the endless polders and the bird (spot) rich salt marshes of the Wadden Sea can be admired within cycling distance. A visit to the city of Groningen and the islands of Schiermonnikoog and Borkum is also worth it!

This nice room is built in a barn has its own shower and toilet. Ten minutes drive to the Wadden Sea. So no beach but dikes with sheep on it. Noordpolderzijl is the ideal base for your mudflats or holidays on the wadden coast. Please be aware that you are staying in a nature reserve on the Wadden Sea. Dogs must stay on a leash and there is no large beach as you may be used to from the North Sea coast.
