Apartment renovated in 2022 at the sheltered end of the former village school. Apartment with kitchen-living room, open bedroom and bathroom. A sleeping place for four. Double bed in the bedroom and a sofa in the living room. The outdoor sauna is heated for an additional fee. The apartment is located in a quiet area, 8km from the center. The rest of the building is for the host's own use, with dogs and chickens strutting around on their side of the yard. In the yard there is room to stay and, for example, barbecue. It is also good for families with children.

Our group of seven spent four nights at Miia's cottage on the shores of Linnansaari National Park. We had an excellent time! The main cottage is on the small side for seven, the three kids were going to sleep in a loft space but with the noise challenges of lofts we elected to have them sleep in the sauna cottage, which has a beautiful sleeping space. We took full advantage of the ping pong table, darts, hot tub and sauna(s). We also rowed over to nearby islands several times (tons of mushrooms growing over there!). There were no other people nearby, really, so it felt very private. The back deck is perfect for lounging and eating meals when the weather is good. Miia helped us find a local fishing guide and gave us other helpful recommendations. We popped south to Savonlinna one day to walk the town and have a meal. All in all, we highly recommend a stay at Miia's!

Nicely renovated and sensitively decorated, bright apartment. The beds and pillows are great. This is where the soul rests and the earthly house of dust sleeps sweetly. Neighbors greeted like their own residents in the house. You can come back here again.

Great stay at Krista's mukki. We were 4 adults. The cottage is quiet and secluded, lake views are very beautiful. The rooms in the cottage and the small adjoining room are small but we particularly appreciated the veranda which is large and very pleasant. The deck is well exposed to the sun in the morning but is more shaded the rest of the day. The toilets can be noisy but there is the possibility of using dry toilets. The lake water is clean, the boat allows you to stroll around the surrounding islands and you can pick up plenty of blueberries around the cottage. tip for travelers: Krista provided us with a can of water, but also provided good amounts of drinking water to avoid a round trip to Savonranta.
