We had a fantastic stay in a fabulous house. It was lovely and felt like a home from home. Our stay could not have been better.The accommodation had everything you could want and more, particularly the extra welcome pack which was very much appreciated.The location is ideal to discover and visit all of what the area has to offer. Charming country cottage well located to explore North Yorkshire. The host, Lucy is friendly, responsive and gave us good recommendations around the area.

Georgous cottage for a relaxing break, in beautiful surroundings with stunning views. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, kitchen with all utensils. Everything we could have needed. Lovely to light the log burner on cooler evenings. Helmsley village only 6 miles away with cafes, pubs, quaint shops and Morrison local. Mandy was the perfect host, very welcoming and friendly with advice on local area, made us feel at home. Lovely relaxing feel to the place, we loved sitting on terrace overlooking garden and stunning views beyond. We will definitely be returning later in the year.

We didnt meet Ailsa for our two night stay but she was really responsive on messages and we loved our stay at the Bothy. The bothy was spotless and everything we needed for our short visit. The views and surrounding area was beautiful. We found the best cafe in Helmsley called the feather trail cafe which did amazing breakfast and coffee (highly recommend) we also did some short walks around the area too but would love to come back for more longer hikes too.
